Soon Fillip is pulled into the dark and hilarious world she inhabits, surrounded by the famous (and infamous) residents of the Hollywood Hills. I downloaded this book after reading the reviews here. This book is a good, easy read which will have you laughing where you think maybe you should not. I will not mention any instances here as I would not like to spoil anybody's enjoyment. It is well written, apart from the odd spelling mistake, so buy and enjoy.

5.0 su 5 stelle Great Read 8 luglio 2013
Di Jabberama - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

Having spent time in Hollywood and Palm Springs with friends in the industry, I recognize the authenticity of this book. The characters are well-drawn, the storyline is great, the dialogue is snappy, and I couldn't put it down. Like Filip, the protagonist, I am much happier outside Hollywood. This is a good study in values.

My Goodreads review was short, and sweet. I will give a little more here as this site gets a much wider audience. This book had it all. Although, I would classify this as a comedy, it certainly also gives us a touching look at the struggles some face when trying to make it in Hollywood. The typical stereotypical Hollywood personas are comically exaggerated here in order to make a point. I won't give away anything, but I was left satisfied with not only the ending, but how the MC handled himself when faced with the sheer selfishness of those wrapped in the Hollywood fame race.
You will not regret this delightful, and quick read.
