Aspiring model Charlene Roberts is running late for an audition, so she begs her reliable sister to stand in for her at the casting for the wildly popular reality show Free Money. Of course Charlotte, a.k.a. Charlie, can’t say no. She could never say no to Charlene, whose agent believes a television appearance will boost her modeling career. Free Money is much like all contemporary dating shows: twenty hot women living in a mansion doing everything they can to catch the eye of one filthy-rich bachelor.
And that bachelor is the media’s favorite bad boy, the insanely sexy Jake Logan. This thirty-something hotelier and nightclub tycoon only wants one thing – to get his parents to stop meddling in his love life. What better way than to be trapped in a house with gorgeous women for two months, right? He’s already done the relationship thing, and has no intentions of doing it again. That is, until he meets Charlie…who he thinks is a model named Charlene.

What’s to know about Sable Jordan? Hmm. I’m a tough tomboy type with a hidden romantic streak. I love to read, especially romances, romantic thrillers, romantica, and suspense stories laced with romance. See a theme here? I started writing when I was a child, but put it aside for other endeavors—it’s my Sagittarian nature, always aiming at every shooting star. Once I got old enough to understand how to balance my time and energies (yes, that’s code for “operate on less sleep”), I went back to writing. At first it was just catharsis with little intent to publish, but I figured I’d let someone other than my mom read it. (Hi mom!) I don’t always write according to the formula. I figure however it comes out is how the story should be told. And even though I’ve got room, I do most of my writing in the closet. Weird? Maybe. I’d never claim to be “normal”. I find myself spacing out at inopportune moments because I’m working a scene out in my head. Aside from that, I hold a degree in biology from UC Berkeley and I’m a certified massage therapist. I have a wicked sense of humor, I love dogs (especially pit bulls, they’re so misunderstood), every variety of music, and candy… lots and lots of candy.
