Eternity (Guardian Trilogy Book 2) [Formato Kindle]

This review will contain spoilers where indicated after a brief summary of why this sequel was... divine. However, please read the first book- Fallen (Guardian Trilogy)- before reading this review. Or it will simply spoil the first book in its entirety.

Maggie and Eran have survived the first part of Maggie's very short life- especially considering she and him have lived centuries together in previous lives. Her, a messenger- able to commute with the ones who have passed. Him, a guardian- dedicated to protecting the last messenger in existence.
This book picks up right after the fight with Abaddon in the first book, leaving you wondering what kind of threat could possibly come for them this time. Blissful, Maggie and her newly fallen Eran attend classes together while being assaulted by newly introduced Fallen Ones- divine beings that fell not out of choice, but from sins committed and thrust out of paradise by their own deeds of treachery and debacles.
Maggie and Eran's relationship that's spanned over hundreds of years has yet to be truly explored in the previous novel, and this one truly has it's amazing "aww" moments. I certainly hope that the author is still working on this trilogy and finishes it in less than 2 years like the previous gap between book 1 and this one.

Favorite parts of the book were definitely when Maggie starts to explore her past. It filled in so so much of what I wanted to know- not just about herself, but her previous contacts, her eternal love, and her butt kicking.
Not so favorite part was the confusing France scene with Marco. I could have sworn that he had just fallen, but there's a part where he says that he's traveled many places, tried many women, and yet he returned to Maggie? I just didn't know if that meant something I partially missed or that he was gone for a lot longer before returning back to attempt to destroy her again.

Please try this series! If you are looking for a series to utterly captivate you, I have to say this one's for you- and maybe you'll be just as frustrated as me, waiting for the next book where I can read a lot more butt kicking and protective awesomeness. (Come on, he wouldn't just be asleep that easily, would he?)

This book, this series is simply amazing. A few grammatical errors...but the story, the premise, the characters, their development...I was enthralled and in love...I got the sample of book one, and after reading the first page..I bought it...there was just something about the way Maggie had been personified, she seemed REAL. Anyways, I bought "Fallen", finished it the same night...only went to bed because I had work the next day, but I came home and immediately bought "Eternity". My one gripe? Book 3 is currently not available for sale as yet. I sincerely beg and pray that Laury Falter gets a move on. Her series is gold. Get a good editor to cast a cursory eye before submitting final drafts and we're all set. So yes, words and stars are not enough yet I have tried...become a believer for yourself if you haven't read the series yet. And If you're like me, lying in wait..stalking Amazon like a Fallen One...just waiting for the Reckoning..then cheers, you're good peeps.
