Kimber McGray is the author of the bestselling books 175 Fresh Card Ideas and Scrapbook Secrets and the co-author of Remember This. She is on the design team for Scrapbook & Cards Today, where her work is regularly featured, and writes the Tips & Techniques article in each issue of Card Maker Magazine. Kimber is also an active instructor, teaching across the US and internationally. She currently works on the design teams for several manufacturers including Core'dinations, Jillibean Soup and Unity Stamp Company, and regularly attends CHA with them.

I received my book from Amazon as I am NOT a card maker in any way. I bought it with hopes to be inspired and have ideas to think about. I found that the book was so full of ways to make cards on a beginner level and then how to step it up. I made 2 cards right after reading it and seriously have been hooked ever since. Thanks for creating one of the best books in this industry. Lot's of ideas.

My copy of !00 Fresh and Fun Handmade Cards arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon. By early evening I had read the entire book from cover to cover. As soon as I finished reading I just had to create. Before I went to bed I finished the adorable birdhouse card on page 130.
I love this totally inspiring book. The directions are excellent and the photographs are amazing. I've already picked out the birthday card I want to make for my daughter's birthday and the baby shower card that I want to make for a friend who's expecting her first baby in July.

The cards shown were not cards that most people would want to give to someone for birthdays, etc. The book did give the standard information that is given in most all of the books I have read, tools, techniques, etc. I was very disappointed in the selection of cards to make. I wanted to see realistic cards.
