Your life doesn't have to be hopelessly complex - simplicity is within your grasp. The secret to clarity - spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial - is about more than cleaning out closets, drawers, and boxes of receipts. From Clutter to Clarity will help you clean house - both inside and out.? Is your schedule so full you can barely breathe, much less volunteer for a good cause?? Do you spend each day worrying about things you can't control?? Are you tired of facing endless mounds of junk? Cluttered homes, overbooked schedules, and maxed-out credit cards are only symptoms of what's happening on the inside. As you follow God's directive to clear out the clutter that complicates your life, you'll discover the clarity you desire. Isn't it time?

5.0 su 5 stelle A very valuable resource! 21 novembre 2007
Di Two Cats Mom - Pubblicato su
Formato:Copertina flessibile
The book "From Clutter to Clarity" has been life-changing. Even before I finished the book, I started implementing many of the suggestions that author Nancy Twigg writes about. This was especially true in the section "From Cluttered Thoughts and Attitudes to Inner Clarity." As Nancy states, clutter is an issue of the heart. This book is not a how-to guide on cleaning out your closets, organizing your pantry, etc. It is far more valuable than that, although it mentions tangible issues of clutter that you may have come to expect in a book with such a title. "From Clutter to Clarity" digs much deeper and goes to the heart of the matter. This book is good for every person looking to find lasting clarity in all aspects of life.

5.0 su 5 stelle Dealing with the root of the problem 16 novembre 2007
Di Connie Y. Mishali - Pubblicato su
Formato:Copertina flessibile
This is not your typical "simplify your life" book with tips on how to organize your closets and manage your time. As anyone looking for a "decluttering" book will tell you, those books are a dime and dozen and don't work -- which is why you're still looking for another one. No! This book addresses the root of the problem -- our FEELINGS and MOTIVATIONS and REASONS for clutter and a non-simple life. Only when you address the heart of the problem can you have real, lasting change. AND, this book wisely recognizes that one cannot do it alone -- in order to have a true change at a heart and soul level, God needs to be involved. The premise of the book is to cast off all that hinders you and run the race (of life) with perserverence, with your eyes squarely on Jesus. Nancy Twigg does an excellent job of explaining abstract ideas in a concrete, down to earth, this-is-my-life way. A must read for Christians and non-Christians alike who want to attack clutter at the root.

5.0 su 5 stelle An Excellent Book! 22 febbraio 2008
Di Gen - Pubblicato su
Formato:Copertina flessibile
This is a gem of a book. Different than a "How to clean out your closet book" but gets to the heart of the matter of why people like to hold onto things, and addresses challenges in our society today. Yes, it is a Christian based book but that is what makes it so good because it challenges the reader to dig deep and inspires the reader to make changes that will last! Bravo!

5.0 su 5 stelle Life Changing -- From Clutter to Clarity 3 aprile 2008
Di A. Reed - Pubblicato su
Formato:Copertina flessibile
When I finished the last page of this book, I flipped back to the beginning and went through it again. It has been years since a book enticed me to do back-to-back readings. For years I've been buying magazines with headlines like "Create the peaceful home you've always wanted!" or "Free your house from clutter in one weekend!" This book is unlike any other on this subject. It makes you think out for yourself how you got in the mess you're in; it makes you get to the bottom of the reasons why you have clutter. Then it inspires you on a deep, fundamental level to make unexpected changes that bring about the life you know you want. This book gave me the resolve, the willpower, the feeling of capability to make the changes I know I need to make, and to make them on a deep level for the right reasons.

I have read this book from cover to cover and have found many aspects of it insightful and helpful as a guide in my daily living. As an avid reader of "simple living" publications, I found this one easily applicable to all walks of life no matter what age, religion or gender.
