Gode is one of the 47 woredas in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, named after its major town, Gode. Part of the Gode Zone, available maps disagree on its exact location. According to the OCHA map for the Somali Region Gode is bordered on the south and west by the Afder Zone, on the west by the Oromia Region, on the north by the Fiq Zone, and on the east by Danan; the Shebelle River forms the southern and eastern boundaries of the woreda.
