A short collection of sermons by Fr. Seraphim before his monastic tonsure and ordination. This little book provides quite a change of pace for those used to Fr. Seraphim's studies on religious controversies. These short sermons give the reader a picture of a young Eugene Rose whose passion for Orthodoxy would lead him to become one of the most memorable and powerful voices in American Orthodoxy. There is not a great deal of theological material here, but for those who have enjoyed Fr. Seraphim's biography and/or Private Letters this book provides a nice companion that gives the reader a glimpse into the man behind the theological legacy.
