What could be better than finding a great collection of diverse and interesting short stories to read?

ANSWER:
Being able to help Japanese orphans while you're taken away to another world!!!

Kizuna: Fiction for Japan (a charity anthology) was put together by a large group of talented writers contributing their time, effort, and all these wonderful stories for free to give YOU even more reason to help the tragic victims of the recent earthquake disaster in Japan.

Containing an incredible 75 authors from around the world; you'll find a variety of genres including horror, pulp noir, historical fiction, weird twisted tales, new wave and plenty more inside this deliciously well written volume.

5.0 su 5 stelle An Incredible Achievement 20 agosto 2011
Di SteveH - Pubblicato su Amazon.com
Formato:Formato Kindle
75 Authors from 11 countries speaks for itself - this is truly an international e-book which reflects a world-wide response to the terrible apocalypse that swept across Japan in March of this year. In only four months Brent Millis, the editor, managed to pull together this wide ranging anthology of sci-fi, fantasy and horror from which 100% of all monies is donated to the Earthquake relief. That alone is enough to encourage you to put your hand in your pocket, but it is far more than a charity book, it is also an excellent read!

When I began reading the e-book I started noting down quality stories to reference in this review, and then gave up. I might as well have listed all of them. There is something here for everyone, and all of the highest quality. And what a great joy it is to read translations of stories I might never have come across otherwise.

I cannot recommend this book enough. Buy it and enjoy.

5.0 su 5 stelle Kizuna - Fiction for Japan! 31 dicembre 2011
Di Dellani Oakes - Pubblicato su Amazon.com
Formato:Brossura
Kizuna is an amazingly diverse collection of short stories and poems from around the world. They range from traditional Japanese folklore to out of this world sci-fi and horror.

The selections are quite short, making this an easy book to pick up and read in snatches. Each story leaves the reader thinking about it, even as they wonder what the next holds in store.

One thing which makes Kizuna highly unique is that the authors contributed their work free of charge and are donating proceeds from sales to quake relief in Japan.

I urge everyone to pick up a copy to support this effort. You won't be disappointed. With over 70 short stories and poems, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
