If I were solely rating the content of the book, I would give it 5 stars. Conwell does a superb job of helping the reader get to know the man Spurgeon. BUT, the Kindle version is atrocious. Most of the time, I can decipher the word it should be by context; however, there are times when so many wrong letters make up the word that I simply cannot. Some pages have few-to-none mistakes, but others have so many that reading becomes tedious. If the book had been free, I would expect a lack of quality. Unfortunately, it is an inferior product that probably does not even deserve 3 stars. My respect for C.H. Spurgeon keeps me from giving it fewer.
