Sinossi
Orlando è la storia di un viaggio nel tempo in cui si narra di un individuo vissuto per quattrocento anni. Durante il regno di Elisabetta I, Orlando, giovane e ricco nobiluomo, vive nelle grazie della sovrana. Alla morte della regina si innamora follemente di una principessa russa. Quando lei lo abbandona, Orlando si improvvisa poeta ma l'esito sarà disastroso al punto da convincerlo a seguire il suo destino sino ai deserti del l'Asia Centrale. Qui, in piena guerra, cambia sesso e si ritrova, nel Settecento, a essere donna nel mondo austero dei salotti di Londra. Nel clima di fermento e di repressione dell'Inghilterra vittoriana, dovrà fare una scelta: sposarsi o perdere l'eredità.
