When I read Klingenhagen's first book, Galactically Speaking, I did something I've rarely done while reading --- I laughed out loud. The story was fast and funny and the plot moved quicker than light speed. I'm glad to say, the sequel, Practically Galactically Speaking, is more of the same. It's fast-paced and hilarious but with a sly, satiric edge to it. The universe the author has created is populated with funny earthlings and even funnier aliens much like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the GalaxyThe Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Practically Galactically Speaking is a high-speed adventure with clever twists and turns that kept me turning pages. I couldn't put it down but I didn't want it to end. The book also answers one of our age-old questions; why haven't aliens contacted Earth? BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO!
