I thoroughly enjoyed Salvaged Secret on several levels. First and foremost, I loved the colorful characters that the author develops throughout the read. They come alive as you turn the pages, and you feel their heartache, frustrations and emotions as you trudge around the back country of North Carolina with them.
This novel is aching to be made into a motion picture!
Whether done on purpose or not, I couldn't help make parallels between the main character - Jeff Ferguson - and the broken down and rusted 1962 Cadillac which forms the focal point of this wonderful story. They share much in common.
Salvaged Secret is just a great read, full of twists, turns, mystery and suspense, and will be enjoyed by just about anyone.
