It's funny, sometimes a book comes around that's targeted at a specific group, but is applicable to a much broader group. This book contains many exercises and tips to help ADHD adults stay on top of the many tasks that must be done every day. But so much of the advice is equally useful to a non-ADHD adult. That's the state of our fast-paced society, I guess.

This book's format is really ADHD friendly, as well. That means short sections, short words! This is no hard-to-wade-through science textbook. This book belongs in the library of any ADHD person. Highly recommended both as a coping guide, and as a basic introduction to the disorder. For specifically relationship-oriented problems, you may want to check out Bell's The ADHD Marriage Workbook: A User-Friendly Guide to Improving Your Relationship.

This book skips over all of the scientific jargon surrounding ADHD (there are plenty of books for that) and goes straight to solid, practical advice you can use in your everyday life. It's written in an ADHD friendly way - it's visually interesting, the sections are short, and there are quick tips that are easy to learn. The whole tone is conversational and catered towards the reader. There are even fill-in exercises to reinforce the learning and apply it.

Plus, it covers everything! From organization to relationships, this is everything you need to know about ADHD - and it's always focused on what's practical. 5/5, definitely a buy.

You don't have to have ADHD to benefit from reading this. It offers practical guidance for dealing with issues so many face - information overload, stuff management, time management, etc. It offers guidance and empowering tips on how to really tackle procrastination and break down projects. It opened my eyes to the many small steps I could take to create a more productive, less chaotic life. I wish I read it when I was much younger!
