As a animation student this book has been fun to watched and read. Not as thick as i was expecting (only 60 pages), the art of "Meet the Robinsons" brings lots of concept art development illustrations. It shows a great deal of character development, prop design, background and layouts, storyboards, color scripts and early concepts sketches. I like the fact that each page is full of images and little text, just what an art book should be. It has been useful, informative and visually inspirational. It is a great item to have in your own personal library. Totally worth my money.

I have been collecting all the Disney "Art Of" books that are a nice companion to their movies especially if you appreciate animation and the extensive process to create the "illusion of life". But, in "The Art of Meet the Robinsons" which is about 1/3 the size of all the other "Art Of" books, I feel jipped or rather the creators of this movie should feel jipped. There is surely more than 60+ pages of information and artwork that could have been included. They really missed the boat on this one, when I received it I thought there must have been a mistake and I received a children's story book instead - nope, what you don't see is what you get. :(

I loved the film so I felt the need to buy the art book to find out the story behind it. It was a pretty thin book (with only 62 pages) compared some other art books I own. Besides the sketches and drawings the rest of the book is mainly about each character. I don't regret buying it but I wish I had bought another art book instead.
