I am a collector of boxing instructionals with now over 200 spanning the last century.

This book would have to come in to the top 5.

It is excellently put together in progressive chapters.

I have no doubt what so ever that if you follow the drills given in this book and put in the hard graft and sweat you will
become an excellent stand up fighter.

I will definately purchase volume 2

Really get's one started on the right foot. Well written with great direction and
also great examples. You can't go wrong with this book. Canino is an excellent
fighter and gives a great manual of instruction. If you want to learn with an
accurate description this book can go a long way to getting your foot into the
door of boxing and learning this art.
