5.0 su 5 stelleAn amazing novel!7 gennaio 2011
Di Caitlyn Grisham - Pubblicato su Amazon.com
A novel full of loss, love and obsession of the darkest sort, you won't want to put The Lost Key of Alexandria down. The characters are very easy to relate to and you can truly see things unfold from their point of view without the story line being bogged down by mounds of useless details. The story is engaging and the poetry that is found throughout the novel is a great read. The Lost Key of Alexandria certainly leaves you wanting more. If you love historical fiction then this is a novel that you must read and it is, dually, a great addition to any collection of literature, big or small.

4.0 su 5 stelleA Lesson in Humanity24 gennaio 2011
Di JerrieMonique - Pubblicato su Amazon.com
The Lost Key of Alexandria is a surprisingly moving and sensitive historical fiction. It tells the poignant stories of several lives which are affected by an enigmatic golden figurine that guards an ancient secret. Although the stories are deeply moving and profoundly sad, the book itself feels rushed at times - like the author was in a great hurry to meet his deadline. However, it is an easy and quick read that will not leave you feeling uninspired or enraged. Instead, what this book offers you is something so rarely found today: the opportunity to learn from the characters, to embrace compassion, to create and above all else, to engage with the world. Through all these tales of loss and heartache we learn what life itself is like to experience and how to participate each and every day.
