disinformation and indoctrination 16 settembre 2013
Di doug - Pubblicato su
Formato: Copertina flessibile
This book gives a breif synopsis onf our bill of rights. This is quoting how they explain the 2nd ammendment. "The people have a right to bare arms in a state militia."
This goes against every supreme court decision on the meaning of the second ammendment. As the first line of the 2nd is actually a preamble. Popular in writings of that time. This book has very little real history inside. Its mostly just a progessive indoctrination peice...

REVISIONIST HISTORY - war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength 16 settembre 2013
Di Akasha - Pubblicato su
Formato: Copertina flessibile
At the very least, the bill of rights is completely revised, so if you read this, as your source of information, you have no idea what the ORIGINAL Bill of Rights states.

Is this an accident? Probably not. Have you read 1984?

That this kind of book is allowed to be published is a crime. The author is a traitor to the Constitution.

A condensed watered down incorrect version 16 settembre 2013
Di nurselisa - Pubblicato su
Formato: Copertina flessibile
How can they spoon feed lies to our children and keep getting away with it. History is history, can't change it to suit your agenda!

Falsus in Unum 16 settembre 2013
Di valentsgrif - Pubblicato su
Formato: Copertina flessibile
Falsus in Unum is the concept that if you lie about one thing, it is safe to infer that you would lie about other things. Applying the concept to this book, any school thinking of utilizing this for school students should be aware that the obvious misinformation being discussed on here belies other agenda driven information set forth through the rest of the text.

Bogus book.

Misinformation about the Constitution, so what else is wrong? 16 settembre 2013
Di David L. Burkhead - Pubblicato su
Formato: Copertina flessibile
If you're going to include information about the US Constitution in a test prep book, it would behoove you to use what it actually says, not what you might wish it said.

Neither the people who wrote the Bill of Rights (Federalist Papers 46) nor the current US Supreme Court agrees with this book's "interpretation" of the 2nd Amendment.

That, alone, is enough to make me question everything else in the book. If they're going to alter one item for political purposes (and it can't really be anything else) then what else will they alter?
