Yours for Eternity [Formato Kindle]

Dark, sexy and immortal, who wouldn't want one to keep one of these fangsome guys for an eternity. Yours For Eternity was an enjoyable collection of historical vampire romances - that made me wish for more.

"Highland Blood" - Hannah Howell - When it is clear that her unusual foster son, Osgard, will never be safe Adeline leaves behind everything to try to return him to his father's clan the notorious MacNachtons. Fortunately, Lachann MacNachton, coincidentally on a missing to find the `lost ones' like her son, is on hand with a timely but frightening rescue when Adeline and Osgar are beset by `hunters' seeking to capture her son. But in witnessing her rescuer's bloodlust, Adeline questions her decision even as she can't help being both wary of and attracted to her savior. (This was my favorite of the collection, I just love Howell's MacNachton males and the heroine is good too.)

"Taken by Darkness" - Alexandra Ivy - Powerful vampire leader Victor having tried everything to get over his distracting obsession with the magical Juliet has decided not to fight his desire any longer - he will make the lovely woman his. Juliet however has other ideas. Of course she is attracted by the dark and sensual Victor, but she refuses to be used to satisfy his `hungers' only to become just another of his harem. But when a friend is in trouble, Juliet will rush headlong into danger and she will only survive because the powerful vampire is determined to keep her in his sights. (Connected to Ivy's series but set in an earlier time, Victor is Dante's brother and Levitt makes a brief appearance. I wished that Ivy would have saved this story for a full length book, I really liked the heroine Juliet and thought that her witch/imp heredity was very interesting and would have liked to have seen this story unfold more slowly. )

"Immortal Dreams" - Kaitlin O'Riley - Grace has dreams of a passionate love, dreams that seem so real that she wakes each night still reeling from the sensual intensity and expecting to see her lover outside her window. She thinks that her dreams are starting to invade her waking life as well when she meets the man of her dreams at her betrothal party. But he is no dream and it is clear that he shares her dreams and her passion. (The dream sequences and set up for the story were really good and I liked everything about this story but the ending - I just needed a little more time to get there.)

I only read the third story, Immortal Dreams by Kaitlin O'Riley. I enjoyed the dark atmosphere, carefully drawn characters, and the ending. Brava Kaitlin.

I love Hannah Howell books she has a way of hooking you in and keeping you there. I have read all of her books and own all of them I would recommend anything she writes.
