Pensavo di non sopportare più i JRPG ma questo mi ha stupito. Oltre al combattimento, è un "simulatore di adolescenza" che intriga, mi risveglia ricordi risalenti più o meno al Giurassico e presenta pure alcuni spunti di riflessione interessanti. Il concetto di "persona", vale a dire di aspetto del proprio carattere, ricorda molto "Uno, nessuno, centomila", e i concetti di crescita e conoscenza di sé sono presentati in maniera intelligente ed efficace, senza risultare pesanti.
Dal punto di vista del combattimento, non avevo voglia di impegnarmi troppo e ho scelto la modalità standard. Dopo un po', i combattimenti diventano davvero molto facili e si riesce a procedere con intoppi minimi e senza utilizzare oggetti di recupero. I boss li si fa fuori al primo tentativo, con un minimo di attenzione. Per chi cerca una sfida più tattica, probabilmente vale la pena di giocare al livello difficile, anche se magari non quello di difficoltà massima.
In ogni caso, c'è un motivo per cui questo è considerato il miglior gioco PS Vita. 30+ euro ma non rimpiango l'acquisto.

Non c'è nessuna traccia di audio giapponesi, non so come facevano a dirlo...
Info per voi: i filmati, che sono sempre parlati in inglese, non hanno alcun sottotitolo.

Questo è il mio primo jrpg e, che dire, dopo dieci ore di gioco (longevità eccezionale, praticamente sono solo all'inizio) la storia mi ha preso veramente tanto.
Il comparto grafico/musicale è molto curato e di qualità, un vero must per la PSvita.
Amazon perfetta, il pacco è stato ordinato il venerdì sera ed è arrivato martedì mattina.

Come da titolo, probabilment per me il miglior gioco per psvita.
Non per tutti i palati, ma un must assoluto per gli amanti di JRPG, meglio ancora se appassionati di anime e manga, un po' otaku diciamo.

Un misto tra JRPG e simulazione di vita reale con trama misteriosa , intrigante e con buona atmosfera.

Purchased for a friend who only uses me for my Amazon Prime membership. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever have any real friends... like, someone I could have a few beers with and maybe go the cinema when all I need is some mindless violence or a good romantic-comedy to cheer me up. I mean that in a completely heterosexual way. Mum says I need some friends that aren't my family because "they don't count" but I think a friend is someone who'll listen or someone who enjoys my company instead of my next-day delivery benefits. Anyway, thanks. He plays it on the commute.

I've nearly finished this game. Only on my first playthrough, and I have one more optional area to go, and I'm at 75 hours played.

Without spoiling anything, It's a combination of dungeon crawler, and... "social" game? Between battles, you build your relationships with your friends and acquaintances, and the more you do that, the more powerful you can become in your dungeons.

If you can manage it, try not to spoil yourself on anything. I accidentally found some small spoilers, and whilst they didn't actually spoil it for me, there were other events that were totally surprising to me, and in some cases absolutely hilarious.

I would have liked a Japanese dialogue option, but the dubbing is actually quite reasonable.

If you like JRPGs, there's a 99.9% chance you will love this. Even if you don't, the formula in this game is a little different to the standard Final Fantasy-esque play, and the battles are not too difficult if you go about things carefully, so it's quite accessible to those who don't usually play RPGs, too.

I also found out that the additional content in Golden is actually huge. There is a whole extra dungeon and secret bits after the main story, a new character, and lots of extras like character art, music, and all sorts. I believe there's also a whole new ending/epilogue so it's even worth it if you've already played the original Persona 4. (But I'd imagine if you had played the original Persona 4, you'd already own this!!)

In closing, this is up there with my favourite games of all time. I will be so sad when I finish the game but at the same time, I can see that there's loads of replay value (unusual for an RPG). Buy it - you won't be disappointed.

I was on the fence about getting this game, having never really heard of this game or played a game by Atlus, for £30 I was weary. The reason it got my attention was by looking up on Metacritic, where not only was it the highest rated Vita game, but on 94/100.

In the end I thought if they reckon its that good, I have to atleast give it a try. So bought it and now, im an avid Persona fan. I played it none stop, on my first play through without anywhere near 100% completion, I clocked up 90 hours!! just going through the story and doing the odd side quest I knew how to do. It was a bit slow to start off, taking close to 3 hours before I even had my first taste of combat. But after that the game just hooks you in and wont let go. After playing this game and enjoying it so much, I brought Persona 3, been buying Persona posters, I even have it as my wallpaper on my PC and tablet, I have been totally converted!

If you enjoy a good RPG, this one ranks among the best I have played. Just beware, it might take over your life.

As a newcomer to J-RPGs (and RPGs in general really) I wasn't sure what I'd make of this game. However, I'd heard a lot of good things and having just finished the incredible Virtue's Last Reward, I needed something else to play on my Vita, so I went for Persona 4 Golden; and I'm so glad I did.

This is without a doubt one of the best games I've ever played, not just on the Vita but on any platform. It has an immersive and interesting story with excellent characters and a combat system that is fun and easy to pick up (especially for a turn-based combat newcomer like myself.) The mix of going about your normal life as a teenager (including making friends, studying and going out and about) and being part of a group trying to save people from a killer is done perfectly; there were times when I'd spend hours playing and barely fight at all, instead I'd be engrossed in other parts of the story and it wouldn't feel like I was just going through the motions; there's enough choice in what you're doing to ensure you feel in control of how most things pan out.

Other reviews will, I'm sure, do a better job of describing the game in detail but I just wanted to add my praise for this wonderful game. If you own a Vita, this is an essential purchase (and as Persona 5 isn't far away, it's also a good introduction to the franchise.)

The best adventure game (scratch that) BEST GAME ON VITA, BAR NONE.......... What a masterpiece that has been converted from PS2 and given the bells and whistles polish up treatment. 200 hours on my first play through alone. Turn based combat! Yes! None of this action based replacement c**p. This game has many playable characters, depth (over 10 huge dungeon areas plus towns etc and the school. Funny, emotional, sad, this game takes you through the lot, and what a treat it is too. You control a central character from out of town who arrives in a small country town. **SPOILER ALERT** People start going missing and some turn up dead, the police are useless and don't understand the crimes. Recruit friends, travel to an alertative universe and solve the mystery. BUY BUY BUY
