3.0 su 5 stelle A bit disappointed in the ending 28 luglio 2016

I don’t like this cover either. I don’t really get what it has to do with the story itself. And honestly this story took a wild turn for me. The ending was underwhelming to say the least. I just couldn’t wrap my head around how easy it was for her to beat the big bad. And we never find out what her ‘special’ power is. That was a huge loose end that needed to be tied up IMO.

So let’s see, you would think after ALL the trials and tribulations Caia and Lucien go through, they would have a strong relationship. But nooooo, surprise surprise, he still doesn’t trust her to be able to take care of herself and respect her decisions. Not that Lucien is the only one who suffers from stupidity, Caia is an idiot about the whole situation. Sorry to be mean about it but this series started out so good and just went downhill for me making me really angry and maybe a bit bitter as well.

Although I will say that once again, Jaeden and Ryder’s story saved this book from being a total loss for me. I felt her pain, I felt his anger and hopelessness. They had such a traumatic experience that I cried. I cried a lot at that one part. You know which I mean Lenore, right? Anyway, if it wasn’t for the side characters in this story I may have DNF’d this book, which is sad because it’s the last book in the series.

I don’t really have much else to say about this story, as a whole it was good, this last one just was a bit irritating for me.

I was estatic to read this series by Samantha Young! It's a story about werewolves, whose origins are said to be related to Greek gods. The characters in this book are well-described, and they really shine with their respective personalities.

Apart from that, the interactions between Caia and the other lycans are well-written. The scenes are mostly enjoyable and interesting; I don't mind reading about Caia and Lucien all day long. I was heartstoppingly in love with Lucien and Caia from the get go, so much so that I felt the extreme feelings of anger with Lucien and Caia whenever something or someone tried to intervene.

I loved the series from the beginning until the end, but I spotted some things that can't be left unsaid. First of all, spelling and punctuation errors. In the beginning, I had a little trouble juggling the different POVs, but I soon grew to love it, along with practically everything else.

Reading the Lunarmorte series was my first introduction to Samantha Young and I have not only read more of her books because of how awesome this series was done but I eagerly look forward to all her future works!

Check out more of my review at bookcrazylady.blogspot.com but Beware! There are spoilers!
4.0 su 5 stelle Disappointing Ending But Still Good 13 marzo 2013

The final book in this series was good through most of it. I just really didn't like the ending or the last battle. The end sort of left it open to have other books, even though this one is the last in the series. In this one Caia, and Lucien are at odds again (it seems they are constantly fighting in this series, it is kind of frustrating). Caia is going to put an end to the war, and kill Marita for all of the horrible things she's done. I did enjoy this book, but was slightly dissapointed with the ending. I do enjoy this author, and I recommend her books.

I knew a big battle was coming but never did I think this would happen!

I have been in love with this series since book 1 and I have never been disappointed. In this one we follow Caia as she gets kidnapped and Lucien goes almost crazy looking for her. Now that's not all though. Oh no siree Bob. The kidnapper is a shocker, which I love. Ok let's just say there are so many shocking moments I felt like my jaw was permanently glued to the floor! In this case it's a good thing though. It had me staying up till 6AM to finish it.

My schocked face
when Lucien
kicks out the
important pack member!

My powers of premonition must be on the fritz because I really didn't see most of these things coming! Here is a tidbit: Lucien kicks someone very important out of the pack! Close your mouths guys because it's true. He does. And I was so shocked I really couldn't believe it.

You can see the love between Caia and Lucien but they drive me crazy (in a good way)! If I were their friend I might go up to them when they make stupid decisions that could've been avoided about their relationship and shake them up a bit so they can open their eyes.

Caia is a strong young woman and you can see it in every way except when it comes to people and their opinions on the topic of her and Lucien's relationship. She is a great leader who cares about people not just the so called "good guys". Lucien is just like her. Strong and determined leader who will do everything for his pack. I like them. They would be friends I would gladly follow into battle just as Ryder and Jaeden.

Samantha Young you have created a series I wish I could live in! I'd love to meet Caia and Lucien and everyone in the pack. All the adventure that goes on plus the drama plus the magic? Yeah I wouldn't mind living in that world.

Even if I hadn't planned on jumping right in Blood Solstice as soon as I finished River Cast, I wouldn't have had a choice. You can't end a book like that and not expect me to have to devour the next book. Man I love Samantha Young and I love this freaking series. I'm sad now that it's over, but I think this will definitely be one that I read over and over again. Caia is so freaking bad A! And so is Jaeden. I love that while the guys in this series were strong, they weren't the most powerful beings there. I feel like there was definitely a lot of girl power here and that always makes me happy.

This book was so freaking epic and was a very satisfying end to a great series. Even though I still wanted to punch Lucien a lot, he made up for it at times and oh my god did I feel like my heart was ripped out at certain times in this book. Poor Caia. I cannot wait to move on to the next Samantha Young book that I have stupidly not read yet. I look forward to a wild ride like she gave me in this series. So good, a definitely must read and recommend highly.
