2.0 su 5 stelle KGI Series Book 11 is a rollercoaster ride in emotions 25 marzo 2017

This the love story about Joe Kelly and Stella Huntington (aka Zoe Kildare). Joe works in his family's business KGI Kelly Group International, a special ops/security business based in Kentu
Zoe is is daughter of a career criminal named Garth Huntington who raised her in a loveless home. She escaped to her friend Rusty Kelly to save her life from the criminal element all around her.
When she met Joe Rusty' s brother it was love at first for both of them.
I enjoyed the read , but there was too much recycled thoughts, words and information previously read.

5.0 su 5 stelle LOVED Joe and Zoe's story! 21 marzo 2017
Di Mary A. - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

I have been waiting for Joe's story and was not disappointed in the least. Maya took a different spin with his, spending more time on the love of a lifetime, along with developing Rusty and her place in the Kelly family more.

Some have posted missing all the action, I thought there was plenty of it, just in a different way. The Team has changed and those changes needed to be shown. Back in book one we had Ethan married and now the last of the family has fallen under cupid's spell. New people added to the team and Rusty is no longer a runaway young girl, but a woman in her own right.

I loved Zoe and Joe's story. Maya hit an out of the park homerun with this one. It left me waiting for the next one so I can see what happens next. I Just hate the thought of the end of K.G.I. I am hoping that she has another one already in the works!

2.0 su 5 stelle Not worth it, save your money and buy yourself something nice instead. 22 marzo 2017

Maya Banks' "Brighter Than the Sun" is terrible. "Brighter Than the Sun" definitely blinded me into spending my money on a book that I thought would be an intriguing chapter in what started out as a promising series with a good author. Instead, I end up with a romantic relationship that escalates unnaturally fast and 2 romantic leads that are totally forgettable. There's no obstacle or conflict in this book other than poor self-esteem. You would think that this book proves its worth by bringing back characters from other books in the series, to provide 'life updates' or that the tangent story arc between Sean and Rusty can make this book redeemable, but you would be wrong. Nothing can save this book from being what it is: A waste of money.

3.0 su 5 stelle Fun, but missing the angst and gripping tension 14 marzo 2017

I enjoyed the next book in the series, but was a bit disappointed. I had hoped Joe's story would have been as riveting as Nathan's or Swanny's tales. It was sweet, but did not have me gripping the book or frantically turning pages to see what happens next. Liked the new character Zoe, but was very impressed with Rusty. Hope the next book is about Rusty and is well developed as the earlier ones were.

Di Melissa Wilkinson Stewart - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

The only thing that I did not enjoy about this book was the way the Kelly brothers treated Rusty. AGAIN. It has always bothered me in each book that Maya makes a point to show how protective and loving they are towards women, unless your are Rusty. In every book, they treat her like a disease and her past has to be brought up again and again. As if the mistakes she made when she was fourteen were enough to brand her for the rest of her life. If they truly treated women like they claim too, they would have forgiven her many books ago and welcomed them into their family. Instead, in each book, she does anything and they all fly off the handle at her. Her speech at the end was great, but I think she should dump the Kellys and move on permanently. They are ALL jerks to her ALL the time. It really bugs me. I can't get past it.
