Quel grand plaisir de retrouver pink floyd en leur début de carrière . Il est vrai que leurs musique était phénoménale et a permis une ouverture de sons . Gilmour , waters , wright , et nick sont présent sur cet album live 68 . Coté dommage c'est qu'il n'y a que 3 titres + un interview ? c'est pourquoi je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles !
This album is a 1968 broadcast from a pop festival in Rome. This album is only 23 minutes long. It only has three music tracks and a 90 second interview with Roger Waters on it. One of those tracks, intersteller overdrive, is missing the opening riff and is misspelt on the back cover. (instersteller!) This album is not authorised by the band.... .. and still, STILL, this is easily worth five stars. Admittedly I think Pink Floyd were at their best before Dark Side, and I believe that the live album of Ummagumma is one of the best things they ever released (but not the studio half of that album, that should be taken out and shot). So this definitely of enormous appeal to me. The sound is what you would expect from an unauthourised 1968 broadcast but is a lot better than many of the old radio recordings that are released these days and I am glad to have it.
Un album des débuts de Pink Floyd Ce qui est dommage c'est qu'il n'y a que 3 titres sur ce cd qui dure 20mn, c'est en quelque sorte la durée d'une face d'un 33tr vinyle
