My name is Dale Lewis Roberts and I'm an American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer, Certified, with an ACE specialty certification in Senior Fitness. Since beginning my personal training career in 2006, I have earned numerous certifications in personal training, yoga, nutritional coaching, among others. I have worked with hundreds of clients with a variety of health & fitness goals. While my greatest passions are health & fitness, writing and reading, I also love to spend time traveling with my wife, watching pro wrestling and playing guitar. This book has some great sounding recipes. I was pleased the author added a contents page so I could skip straight to recipes- essential for this type of book. The added anecdotal comments helped inspire me and I appreciated the detailed step by step directions for preparation. My only disappointment was that there are no pictures of the recipes produced. They say we eat with our eyes, and I'm afraid for me, I choose with my eyes also. I find it hard to use a recipe that I can't see what it will look like when it is finished. Adding pictures to this book would make it so much more appealing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The beginning explains the basics of clean eating and each recipe has a small description of why the author likes this meal or chose to include it. It has a good selection of recipes for a book of only 30+ ideas. I was particularly impressed with the side dishes; many of them were interesting combinations and seemed to have a good assortment of flavors/diversity. The breakfasts were things I already make for myself regularly (I have a lemon ricotta pancake recipe I make with homemade blueberry syrup that reminded me a lot of one of this author's recipes). It was a bit on the short side, but for a free book, I was very impressed.

I am for one a meat eater...but a friend of mine told me to look into this book to try and incorporate some vegetables into my life. Dale Roberts did just that...he told you breakfast options, dinner options, snack options, and everyone's favorite dessert options for vegetarians. All the recipes looked really good and most of the items needed will already be in your house so you won't have to go and buy everything. Most of the recipes even included sources of protein without having to eat meat! The idea Dale was trying to conceive about "If it's green, it's good" is truly a great idea in this book.

I really liked how the author listed several different recipes to try to help you convert into clean eating...I for one will try some of these recipes!

Educating book on clean eating. I want to embark on this journey and it is a good start. My favorite recipe was the Greek Quinoa salad. I would have never thought about making this on my own. Cooking the quinoa in vegetable broth is a great idea that way its more flavorful. I switched mine to Chicken broth with a bit of cayenne since I like my food to be a bit more spicy. Te recipes are cooked or require cooking so it is not a raw book. The book has recipes divided into the following sections: Breakfast, Side Dishes, Salads, Main Dishes, Deserts and Tasty Treats. The Veggie Pops recipes was interesting because it is similar to a smoothie that I make with the same ingredients with spinach, kale, pineapples and banana. I will be switching the recipe up and adding bananas and mango and peaches. The blackberry crisp recipe was on point. I really like apple crisp but it never occurred to me to make it with blackberries which I totally love and eat a whole box of them in one sitting. The introduction explains the different benefits to clean eating. The writer uses humor to engage the reader. There are more or less 30 recipes in the book which is aa good variety of recipes. The writer also includes a link to another book that he has a a gift.

A great guide on cooking simple healthy meals for Vegetarians or not. The author explains the concept of eating clean and provides a variety of recipes that are full of nutrients and vitamins that jump start the human metabolism making it work efficiently. I tried a couple of teh breakfast recipes and was very impressed. I'm looking forward to trying all of them. I recommend this without a doubt.
