Il set di cavi completamente modulare consente di utilizzare solo i cavi necessari. È possibile installare prima la serie AX e quindi aggiungere cavi uno per uno senza dover affrontare il temuto "polpo del cavo"

AX860 offre fino al 92% di efficienza energetica in condizioni di carico reali. Una migliore efficienza significa minore consumo di energia, meno calore in eccesso e costi operativi inferiori. Dal momento che viene generato meno calore, la ventola non deve lavorare così duramente, quindi c'è meno rumore. È un'ottima scelta per una fornitura di energia intelligente ed efficiente.

Tutti i cavi di alimentazione sono dotati di connettori su entrambe le estremità, con nulla di cablato alla PSU. Questo rende più facile l'installazione (non è necessario occuparsi di un polpo di cavi mentre si sta inserendo l'alimentazione), e si possono aggiungere cavi uno per uno, utilizzando solo i cavi necessari. Il risultato è una costruzione dall'aspetto più pulito, con un migliore flusso d'aria.

Beh devo dire che è un alimentatore più che ottimo, silenzioso e potente sono ciò che lo descrivono perfettamente. Facile da installare, se volete avere le massime prestazioni potete anche modificare le impostazioni di monitoraggio dell'alimentatore che riguardano le potenze in uscita, grazie al Corsair Link. Nel packaging sono inclusi tutti i cavi di cui avete bisogno, anche in abbondanza. Unica pecca è che mi è arrivato con la spina di Tipo G, quindi ho dovuto installare una presa di Tipo G a casa per non invalidare la garanzia. Tutto sommato vi consiglio questo alimentatore se avete delle configurazione pc che hanno bisogno di tanta potenza.

Se si cerca un'alimentatore TOP DI GAMMA silenzioso efficente che deve durare 10 anni (ma anche di più) modulare che gestisce la potenza erogata e che quindi a fine anno vi fa risparmiare qualcosa anche in termini di spesa elettrica beh senza dubbio questa è la scelta giusta. Una volta acceso sembra quasi non esserci per quanto silenzioso. Fantastico per un PC top e con la nuova generazione ormai in arrivo questo alimentatore non dovrebbe mai mancare nei vostri computer. Lo ricomprerei altre 20 volte

No Coil Whine (YAY!) & cable tidy roll supplied

Been through 2 power supplies on my newly built PC of late, initially an RGB one (Corsair CX750F); RGB of which didn't respond to iCue so when simultaneously upgrading my GPU to a 3090 FE I got the 80 plus platinum rated HX1000 (I know this review is for an AX1000 - read on...) aaaaaand the HX1000 gave coil whine when the GPU started to do a bit of work / draw power. So it drove me nuts & it even affected the game on screen - just as it started to tick / buzz; the FPS / screen would stutter (Rise of the Tomb Raider was a good example, load screen are fine - but as soon as it starts rendering, it starts ticking & that continues until the buzzing is in full tilt (I have an LG OLED 48CX running in 4k as my screen btw). So, at a lot more ££ than the HX, I tried the AX1000 which is Titanium rated. This model has a fan switch which stops the fan from running when the PSU is under low load (it still comes on when required whilst set to the off position). The fan is supposed to be quiet but its not "very quiet"; I'd say it was more noisy a Corsair SP120 Pro fan at full whack but then, the PSU its at the bottom, wall facing & with low power-draw-off mode, it is actually silent. The big for me - is NO COIL WHINE - YAY! I know some of you out there will probably tell me coil whine is normal & can happen any time but I think manufacturers who claim their PSU;s are extremely quiet - can do ore to prevent this issue. Corsair make such claims & more about this one - so, no excusee in my book!

So - very pleased with it, good PSU's are very difficult to get at the moment. Should also note, that this comes with 3 large magnetic Corsair AX1000 labels / fridge magnets (I have one stuck magnetically to my case (Lian Li Lancool 2) - one in black & white, one blue & white & one Red. It also comes with some Corsair branded Velcro cables ties (2-3) - as well as the usual plastic ones. All of the PSU cables are in a roll-out telco closing bag which rolls up like a tool-roll - which is quite convenient - it has separate pouches for each cable, labelled appropriately. It has 4 PCIe, which each daisy chain (I wish they didn't - prefer single 8 pin or 6+2 rather than a daisy chain to a 2nd 6+2) & so with the 3090 FE, I've used 2 x separate PCIe cables & cable tied the redundant 6+2 connector on each cable in a poor attempt to hide them - as best I could. So its totally silent in operation and with the GPU at full whack. I have an AIO, 6 RGB fans, 5 storage devices, front LED & interior LED's plus the 3090 FE as well as a 10900k - so at full whack, I'm probably drawing 800w but no PSU noise or its fan either. Oddly, it was so quiet, I then realised my 3090 FE has a very small coil whine - but you can't hear that at all unless the glass door of the case is open & your ear is right next to the GPU. So, all in all, very pleased - but I think this could be priced below £200; £175 feels about right for me. The Phanteks (made by Sealey) 1000w 80p Gold is just £149. This is Titanium of course but this only goes to the efficiency of the PSU within certain load bandwidths so I don't know if the price is wholly justified? This PSU is much later to market too so, perhaps this is why its a "whiner" :)

Worst PSU I've ever used.
There is a known issue of it turning off randomly. Google it.
Basically, the power unit turns off and shows a red light. I wanted to believe in Corsaire and in good reviews regarding this product. After my first one keeps failing, I've ordered a second one. Same thing after a month use.
Also, it is worth nothing that the internal fan doesn't get triggered by temperature (LOL) but by workload on your pc. Meaning if your place is warm or hot (in summer for example) and if your pc is idle; no mater the temperature, thee fan won't start. Which gives you again, a nice red litgh and power off.
I regret buying this product. Never again.

I already have a Corsair AX850 Power Supply but decided I wanted to try the top of the range PSU for my second computer.
I have always built my computers rather then buying branded, that way you can have exactly the specs you want.

I knew the load was going to be around 350W absolute max so the 850W version is more than capable of handling anything thrown at it, but the big advantage is that I have never seen the fan kick in at all yet.

It was fairly easy to install although the cables are SO rigid and the ATX connector 'popped out' at one point, despite the locking mechanism.
I have it in a mid-tower case (who uses full tower cases these days ?) so there was plenty of room and I only used about a quarter of the cables, but I still struggled to make it look neat because of the stiffness of the cables.

As a power supply though I think it is the best on the marked, but the cables, what were they thinking about, the AX850 was much easier to fit and looks tidier... but I still give it 5 stars though !

Nothing bad to say about the PSU but the included cables are terrible. They are poorly designed and I am surprised that they even made it to market. You have to question whether they even tested them in a build? The 24pin cable has a 5cm inflexible length at the motherboard connection end that makes it almost impossible to plug in and then be able to close the back panel on your case (I have a Fractal Meshify 2 XL full tower case). This problem also exists with the PCIE cables, more rigid inflexible lengths in the cables making tidy cable routing unnecessarily difficult.
The only reason I am going to keep the PSU is that there are no Seasonic ones in stock at the moment.

I have been using this in a gaming PC (MEG Z390 ACE, i5 8600k, RTX 2080 Super) for almost a year without any overclocking to play popular FPS games.

Since my consumption is below 500W this PSU can handle the load easily without turning its fan on. Haven't noticed any annoying electrical noises either.

The cables are a bit stiff (especially around the connectors) but this isn't a big enough issue to remove a star because I don't frequently modify/rebuild the internals of my PC.
