CRAVE part 1 was absolutely amazing! I am in a major book hangover. This book will absolutely take your heart and twist it in so many places. I knew from the minute I started reading this book that I would not be able to put it down or to keep these characters out of my head. EK Blair's writing is absolutely brilliant. She always manages to find something different from everything else and turn it into an amazing story. This love story will touch you. It's high school love so you would think it would be young and carefree, but that's not always the case. There were many moments that I laughed, I cried, and I swooned and moments that I had to pull my heart back together. CRAVE part 2 cannot come soon enough or I'm going to have a complete meltdown! This book is beyond five stars!!

I have read all of E.K.'s books. This was my least favorite. It was about a little explored addiction. i would have preferred exploring this topic with older characters. I could not buy into Adeline's reaction and acceptance of the addiction. She forgave too easy and did not ask advice beyond an internet search. I feel like the love they shared and her close relationship with her Mother would have made her insist that they seek help. The cliff hanger was also a bit of a disappointment, as it will bring in another whole set of problems to tackle before they confronted the original addition and the long term difficulties it will force them to face.
I will read the next one, I am a sucker for a cliff hanger, but not looking forward to it.
I think I would have been more prepared for this one if I had know it was more of a young adult type and nothing like E.K.'s other books. Not sure why she felt she needed a cover change. I think the first one suited the book more.

OH. MY. GOD. This book has completely blown me away! I'm not even sure how I can even begin to explain how absolutely amazing this book was. Crave is such an accurate description of how much I need more of Kason and Adaline's story. Having read this author's dark and suspenseful romance series The Black Lotus, I was very intrigued in reading something completely different from what I had known her for. This contemporary romance has a hint of darkness and yet so much more from what I had initially expected. This book had completely taken me by surprise. I couldn't get enough of this highly addictive and compelling love story. Kason and Adaline were such endearing and lovable characters. My heart truly went out for these characters especially as they navigate through the emotions and obstacles of young love and the journey into young adulthood. I loved seeing the development and growth of their relationship. But there were times where I had a hard time getting past some of the choices that these characters would make. For instance, I had a difficult time sympathizing and getting over some of things that Kason did throughout the book. But that was until I realized the reasoning behind his choices and the experiences that had influenced his behavior. It also made Kason's journey even more endearing and profound. Furthermore, the author's impeccable writing and riveting storyline had me hooked on every word from the first page to the last. I felt so immersed in Kason and Adaline's world that there were times where I couldn't put this story down. But there were also moments that I wanted to throw my tablet. It was quite an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. Kason and Adaline's heartbreaking love story will no doubt give you the feels. Despite the cliffhanger at the end of the story, I can't wait to see how the story will continue to unfold in the second part of this duet. Honestly I cannot recommend this book enough. It's must read story that shouldn't be missed!

This book wow!!! I don't want to give any spoilers, so I will just say it was absolutely incredible!....the topics brought up in this story need to be talked about. The way Kason and Ady's story is told is both heartbreaking and beautiful. So well done EK Blair!!! I can't wait for part 2..
