The story attempts to address Existentialism. Indicative of the name Decision in the Night, the underline theme is “We are our decisions,” both of the anti-heroes, Eclavadra and G’ee come to this ultimate realization. G’ee faces introspective issues; he is forced to examine the ethics and morality of his chosen trade, in the end he finds even exiting what he has deemed to an immoral profession a laborious undertaking with consequences.
