Il dissipatore funziona bene riuscendo a tenere buone temperature sia in idle che in stress. L'ho acquistato per sostituire un dissipatore di stock della CPU e la differenza comunque si nota.

La ventola è molto silenziosa ed emette una forte luce bianca che non mi aspettavo.

Il montaggio è semplice ed è adatto sia per scheda madre che monta Intel e, nel mio caso, AMD socket AM4. Non ingombrante ma riesce a tenere una distanza comoda con le RAM per poterlo installare

Il prodotto è valido e sono soddisfatto. Unica critica è la vendita del prodotto per "Nuovo" ma in realtà mi è arrivato come "usato".

Fortunatamente non è stato utilizzato ma solo aperto e senza scatola originale. Questo mi ha spinto a tenerlo sotto controllo per diverso tempo e ore ed è tutto ok.

I bought this CPU cooler to replace the generic(Akasa) one that came with a motherboard bundle i bought a month or so back, my case has RGB lighting and an infinity mirror so the bundle looked quite plain and drab compared to the rest of my system so i decided to look at air coolers for my cpu and maybe get a LED fan for it to add a bit of colour, but I stumbled across this CPU cooler from deepcool on my google searches and after looking into it a bit more was really interested to give it try in my system.
The main reasons why I was prepared to give it a go was the fact that the cooler itself had RGB and could be synced with the case lighting system(if you wanted) or you could just pair it up with the supplied fan and those two would sync and work together independantly of the rest of the case, I chose the latter option as i was interested to see what combinations/speeds and effects the CPU cooler had to offer.
For the price i paid i was not expecting much to be honest the basic brackets for amd and intel and the thin wire fan holders that clamp onto the cooler tower, but I was pleasantly suprised as in the box there was the cooler tower and fan obviously, two sets of mounting plates one for intel based systems and one for amd systems, there was a black plastic backing plate which had holes for most popular intel and amd boards and depending on which LGA system you have the very clear intructions showed a pictograph of exactly which holes to affix the supplied hex nuts to, these hex nuts are clicked into position and held in place by the backing plate. also supplied is a small syringe of thermal paste which i was glad of as when i removed the generic cooler from cpu i saw the bare minimum of thermal paste on my CPU so i gladly added a couple of blobs to the mix, also in the box were 4 fan holding brackets, even though only 1 fan is supplied deepcool package 2 extra brackets incase you want to add another fan on the other side of the cooler tower to create a push pull configuration, all the required hex nuts, hand tightening nuts/screws(to secure the backplate to the motherboard via the hex nuts) and screws to attach the mounting plates to the cooler tower are included. There are also 2 cables included in the box one is to connect the RGB from the fan and from the cooler tower to your cases RGB config and sync up, the other which i used connects the fan and cooler RGB cables the same but this one gets its power from a sata cable and has a small inline control box which controls the speed, can lock the colour to anyone you want and can cycle through different pulses, so after messing around for 5 minutes i found a breathing effect that wasnt far off the cycle in my case and left it at that.
I left the PC running for about 7 hours while i was at work then i played a few games on world of tanks, yeah i know its not really a taxing game but the previous CPU cooler sounded like a chinook helicopter taking off when i played the game which was another reason i wanted a change, though I do play the HD verion on Ultra settings, the deepcool gammax GT cycled up on first start of the game then dropped back down to normal speeds, the max temp i got while in game was about 55 dropping immediatley to 51 then 41 within about 20 seconds of coming out of the game( i didnt time this its just a rough estimate).
I have taken some pics and actually filmed the instal I will be uploading the pics as soon as I can as im at work right now and I may have to edit the video(speed it up) before I post it on here as I dont know the max size allowed for vids on amazon.
My verdict on this CPU cooler from deepcool, value for money is a 10/10 you get many features and extras only usually given with coolers you have paid twice the price for.
Performance I will say its a 7.5/8 out of 10 as I havn't really taxed it on games but I know it will get hammered when im editing and rendering the video so this score might change.
The design I like, mainly the RGB colour aspect of the tower itself, when I first removed the cooler tower from the box I thought it was going to be a tight squeeze and it may touch my case side panel but after installation the tower easily sat inside the case and ended up being about 2 to 3cm away from touching the clear side panel.

I have a Ryzen 3600 build and the stock cooler is insufficient. Temps were reaching the throttle limit and the CPU struggled to hit the full boost speed. This solved things nicely.

The fan this comes with isn't the quietest, and has a very bright slightly off-white light. This illuminated my case too much for my taste, so I actually replaced the fan with a cheap 3 pin ring fan which runs continually but much more quietly. IMO looks better too.

Temps are now exceptionally good. ~33°c on idle, pushing 65°c under extended load.

Amazing cooler for the price and includes nice BLINK to it (RGB).

I'm using it on Ryzen 7 3700x and I've tried couple of different configurations so bare with me bellow. Unfortunately have pictures only on my current one but I'm happy to answer questions if someone interested.

So, I did following options:
Opt1: Stock AMD Wraith Prism Cooler
Opt2: DeepCool Gammax with one Stock RF120 fan
Opt3: DeepCool Gammax with two DeepCool RF120 fans
Opt4: DeepCool Gammax with two Arctic P12 (my current setup on the pictures)

The noise levels are acceptable if the CPU isn't overclocked in all configurations except the stock AMD cooler. (To noisy for me in continuous gaming or working sessions)

At the moment my CPU is overclocked to 4425 Mhz on all cores @1.3625v and max temp under load with AIDA 64 is 79C with fans at 90%
If i load my CPU and extremely hot GPU to 100% simultaneously CPU temps are rising to 85C, but this 8s limitations of my case with the GPU (Corsair Carbide 275r & 5700 XT - XFX THICK III Ultra.

My idle temp is 42 - 49C @4425 Mhz and 36-39C @3600Mhz.

So my conclusion is:
Gammax can handle mild overclock with stock fan on acceptable noise levels. If you have extra 120 mm fan you can add one as DeepCool include extra set of mouthing springs/brackets in the box.
In my opinion is best looking Budget friendly CPU cooler, regardless if you're using the RGB or not.
