Bellissimo cd, la spedizione è stata come al solito veloce. Unica pecca è che la custodia del cd è arrivata leggermente crinata/rotta. Però il cd si sente e va benissimo così!

Finalmente un album di music matura, ben fatta, ma non per questo pesante o difficile da ascoltare: molto brava Janelle Monae a mettere insieme un album funk in cui l'influenza di Prince è un'ovvia presenza latente piacevolissima, che richiama il Prince degli anni migliori.

Purchased the vinyl, arrived in around 15 hours - exceptional delivery.

Having already listened to the album on Spotify and being a massive fan of 'Make Me Feel', I was very excited to purchase the vinyl record.

The album is very good, it is an experience and is best enjoyed in full, rather than listening to specific singles on their own.

Pynk, Make Me Feel, Americans & Crazy, Classic Life are the standout songs. Take A Byte & Screwed are also pretty good.

However, the vinyl packaging is really poor. The album is gatefold and great from the outside but the vinyl sleeves are incredibly disappointing and are very poor and ill-fitting. They are white and very thin, not matching with anything else.

I also think that the album could have been added to vinyl differently, as 45rpm x4 sides is a lot for only 14 tracks.

Fantastic album. So rich. Heavy Prince influences on some tracks (and the cover). It's not a Cindi Mayweather album, but you get the feeling that Monae felt that that wasn't required at this point in time, that she needed to be more direct with her statements. So we get some wonderful tracks about sexual freedom for women, some about equality, and the final track Americans is a wonderfully upbeat piece about the hypocrisies in American culture. It's absolutely an album for today, but due to the fantastic melodies, it will stand the test of time. I've already listened to it dozens of times. I just don't know how I'm going to wait till the next time.

Been waiting for this a long time. Listened to it from the auto-rip copy as my CD has yet to arrive. Very Prince influenced as I knew it would be.. Not one bad track here. One thing Janelle has done is keep the album under 50 minutes so you don't get one of those albums with lots of filler, there is no filler here. Go on buy it.

Third album for Janelle and a bit of a gem. these days it is rare to find a collection of tracks that work as a cohesive album. But you do here. The album is quasi-concept and takes the listener into Janelle's (dirty computer) world and how she tackles the challenges of feminism, sexuality, Trump, the digital era and making sense of it all. But don't be put off, this is sexy, sassy and smart. And it works as a listen from start to finish. The ghost of Prince haunts the mix which covers slower numbers "I like that" and the more funky stuff "screwed" and it even has a decent (obligatory?) Pharrell track "I got the juice". There is "adult" language which some may not enjoy, but definitely one of this years smarter R&B collections. VoR

I thought I loved Janelle Monae's live performances, videos and albums as much as I could. This CD, from an entirely professional seller, has changed my mind. It makes me love everything about Janelle a lot more. The lyrics, the music, the backing, the various rhythms and Janelle's unbeatable rendition of the lyrics and the music on this album increase my love for everything about Janelle Monae. The best tracks are all of them.

Essential for Janelle Monae's existing fans, strongly advisable for anyone willing and able to expand their musical mind. "Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream...", carried along by Janelle Monae.
