Devo dire che come finale di serie mi aspettavo di più. Ho adorato le altre stagioni, ma questa specie di "film" l'ho trovato un pò tirato via, come se il regista avesse fretta di chiudere la serie. Gli appassionati sicuramente lo gradiranno comunque.

Voci dei personaggi cambiate, neanche hanno provato a trovarle un po' simili... totalmente diverse. Inascoltabili!
Mi sembra anche che la storia abbia perso lo spirito della serie. Giusto per averlo, niente di più.

Parlo dell'edizione 2 dischi DVD, lingua italiana.
Abituato alle quattro serie TV ... sono rimasto piuttosto "sconcertato" quando ho scoperto che le voci dei doppiatori sono state cambiate.
La cosa mi ha infastidito non poco ... ma solo per una questione "affettiva".
La trama non'è da "capolavoro" ma lo reputo un prodotto da avere e dedicato gli appassionati della serie che potranno assistere all'epilogo.
Detto trà noi, personalmente non mi è piaciuto moltissimo e continuo a preferire la serie televisiva (non tutti gli episodi).
Però spiegatemi come si fà a "non cadere in tentazione" con questa edizione.
La qualità audio/video è piuttosto buona ... oltre tutto.

consiglio a tutti di avere questa serie televisiva a casa.
Mai noiosa sempre affascinante , la trama e' una delle piu' belle che io abbia mai visto , un racconto come un semplice uomo riesce a sopravvivere tra mille difficolta'.

Buon prodotto. Tecnicamente la qualità della definizione è ottima, tranne che per le scene dello spazio con le astronavi, dove la qualità della definizione scende vistosamente.
Consigliabile ai fan di Farscape (anche per vedere finalmente come terminano le avventure di John Crichton & Co!).

After getting hooked on this amazing sci-fi series and having watched all 1 - 4 series's I found on their fan club website they had made another 2 extra long finishes for their fans after fan pressure.
This DVD although Dutch sub titles, is in English dialogue, my player can switch off the sub titles so there is no loss of visual viewing.
Farscape is a big loss for fans of the series and it is now over ten years since the last series 4 finished but the production on this excellent series came to a brilliant end with the edition of this Peacekeeper War video - excellent series better than any sci-fi today and this one will remain dateless, if this had been plugged more it would have been an even more popular series - the whole series from series 1 episode 1 to the end of series 4 is so cleverly produced and written with many twists and the maximum sci-fi imagination used it's a Classic for me and worth an easy five stars, the addition of this excellent "Peacekeeper War" video is cream on the top.
Loved it and will watch again a few times.
If you love sci-fi, you'll get hooked on this one...:)

Fans of the Farscape series will undoubtedly love this 2004, 3 hour movie. Despite the Dutch cover, this import is the same as the standard UK version except the menus and subtitles are in Dutch, but the soundtrack is in English [2,0 or 5.1] with a choice to turn off the subtitles.
For those not familiar with the series, it’s a military science fiction miniseries and this film was written to tie up some elements of the series in general. Basically at the end of the series John Crichton [Ben Browder] and Aeryn Sun [Claudia Black] were crystalised. 60 days later they are ‘reformed’ to find that the Peacekeepers and Scarrans have finally gone to war against one another in a galaxy wide conflict. Crichton and the crew of Moya try to stop the conflict as both factions pursue them for the wormhole knowledge Crichton possesses.
The film is fast paced and although the start is a little ‘slow paced’ as it fills in the back story, the tongue in cheek humour keeps it moving. Picture and sound quality are fine and the special effects are as good as ever. Finally, fans can now discover who the Peacekeepers actually are and what becomes of the main characters. While it’s not essential to have seen the series, it will make viewing easier. If this still has your interest then buy this –not the Blu Ray version which purchasers seem to give the thumbs down. A definite frelling ***** rating.

With the rather unsatisfactory ending to the series thank God Hallmark decided to satisfy the fans with an ending that could, pretty much, keep everyone happy. With so many pretty decent Sci-Fi TV series being cancelled it showed that if a network decide not to take up the show the writers can be given a chance to wrap-up the loose ends. Angel was pulled but the finale sort of concluded the 5 year series and others that weren't so lucky were, to name a few, Firefly, Brimstone, Heroes, Midnight, Stargate Universe, Invasion, Surface, the Lone Gunmen, Jericho, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Tru Calling, Bionic Woman, Odyssey 5, Space Above and Beyond, Threshold, 4400, Defying Gravity, etc, etc. I wish more companies showed some backbone, as Hallmark did, and produced the filming of similar mini-series to give a conclusion to series followed religiously by many Sci-Fi fans. But realistically what can you expect from from a nation that had George Bush as President (he shout "Amigo, Amigo at the ITALIAN Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi), Vice-President Dan Quayle (I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn't study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people.) and finally Sarah Palin (But obviously we've gotta stand with our North Korean allies--we're bound to by treaties ...) as a major contender for high political office!!!

I didn't 'get' Farscape when it showed, but I did gain an appreciation for both main actors when they appeared on Stargate SG-1. Contemplating a cold winter with poor TV I ordered Farscape and we sat down to watch and after a bit of a slow start became very engaged with all of the characters. I like series with an overarching plot (Babylon 5 comes to mind) which slowly comes to its inevitable climax. I also love strong, capable women so Farscape scored maximum points and the interactions between the well designed and manipulated puppets and the human cast was totally believable. A really intriguing series.

As far the mini series goes, its a great story arc. Its the best the team could have done after the cancellation of the main series. I love every part. If you are a fan of the show this is a must watch.

The Seller provided a very fast delivery, two days into the three week window, which impressed me greatly. They also provided a note explaining that only outer sleeve was designed with international market. I have no problems with the seller and would use them again.

My only problem is when the DVD was produced the complete mini series was put on one disk and edited to run as one movie. This resulted it a loss of about 3 to 4 minutes at the start of the second part where the title screen has been edited out. The movie can still be followed but someone who has not seen it before may be lost for a beat or two and may put it down bad continuity. I had a copy I taped from the original airing on VHS so I know the mini series pretty well. I will need to get another copy for the sake of my OCD of having the complete collection but will be happy to watch this version in the meantime.
