Gigabyte GTX 970 rev.1.0 Scheda Grafica, 4GB (3.5GB+0.5GB)

Dopo un primo incidente, era arrivata guasta, ed alcuni rimbalzi tra Gigabyte e Amazon, Amazon stessa mi ha sostituito la scheda guasta con una nuova. Ottimo servizio sia telefonico che di organizzazione. Amazon ha risposto laddove Gigabyte non era pronta a soddisfare la giusta richiesta del cliente. La grafica che si ottiene con questa scheda è eccellente, fluida e il rendering molto realistico e convincente. Usata con diversi programmi di simulazione guida, la consiglio senz'altro.

Grande prodotto, in tutti i sensi!!!

Misura infatti 31 centimetri, assicuratevi di avere un case adeguato! Io l'ho inserita in un Corsair Carbide 300r senza problemi, in combinazione con un I5 4690K e 8gb di ram: oltre 9500 punti di 3dMark Fire Strike. Temperature molto basse (25C in idle) e massima silenziosità. Provata in vari games garantisce massima fluidità, considerato anche che sono limitato dalla ,massima risoluzione del mio monitor, 1680x1050; i benchmark la danno ampiamente garantita anche a 1080p. Vale i (tanti) soldi spesi.

Nulla da dire sulla gtx 970 che e' veramente un processore grafico eccezionale per rapporto prezzo/prestazioni e per l' efficienza.
Tornando indietro eviterei di prenderla con un dissipatore del genere: tre ventole, che oltretutto non possono nemmeno girare sotto i 1500 rpm, sono davvero esagerate per una gpu che non scalda nemmeno nelle configurazioni a ventola singola.
E cosi' devo tenermi tre ventole che girano sempre a 1500 giri anche quando sto solo navigando su internet...un sistema di dissipazione chiaramente sovradimensionato perche' anche sotto massimo stress e con overclock non vanno oltre i 1800rpm (sui 3000 che possono raggiungere).
Non posso certo dire che sia rumorosa, ma ci sono molte configurazioni di gtx970 piu' silenziose in idle.
Do comunque 4 stelle perche' mi soddisfa sotto ogni altro aspetto e la qualita' costruttiva e' buona.

Acquistata questa scheda al prezzo (buono) di 320€. Occhio, si tratta della windforce 3 e NON della G1 come si vede in alcune foto. Sfatiamo un mito: il dissipatore lavora in modo eccelso, sotto benchmark in overclock, con le ventole al massimo raggiunge max la temperatura di 62° nonostante il dissipatore non abbia le 4 heatpipe della G1. La scritta WINDFORCE NON è illuminata ma solo in rilievo e NON ha il backplate. La scheda monta delle (pessime) memorie hynix che la differenziano dalle G1 dove la prima serie montava SAMSUNG, la nuova anch'essa Hynix.

La gpu lavora a 1114mhz (1178mhz la G1) ed è regolabile sia nei voltaggi che frequenze tramite OC Guru II (gigabyte) inoltre è dotata di un profilo preimpostato OC (+25mhz sul core) attivabile tramite OC guru e di un boost 2.0 integrato.

Ho ricevuto la prima scheda difettata, su alcuni giochi mostrava artefatti sotto carico, la nuova è perfetta. (OTTIMO AMAZON arrivata in 1gg e mezzo!)

Gioco a Far cry 4 in full hd maxato e a GTA 5 maxato in full hd con fps stabili a 60, la scheda scala bene in OC (1540punti su heaven 4.0). Due piccoli difetti se proprio bisogna esser pignoli li ha.

- Ventole NON di tipo 0db, girano al minimo a 1500rpm e per me che sono amante del silenzio, in effetti un pochino se lascio il pc acceso mentre dormo si sentono.

- Memorie Hynix, purtroppo ora le stanno facendo tutte Hynix, castrano molto l'OC della scheda rispetto alle samsung (quelle arrivano a 8000mhz)

Per il primo "problema" ho messo un bios custom dove imposto le ventole a 0rpm fino ai 50°, e la scheda fino a carichi bassi tipo navigazione internet, facebook, youtube, resta fissa sui 40-42° massimo. Che dire, ottimo lavoro gigabyte!

PS. occhio alla lunghezza della scheda, non è cosi piccola!

Solitamente acquisto schede AMD/ATI per una questione di rapporto prestazioni/costo ma questa volta mi sono buttato su questa fantastica scheda nvidia e cosa dire.... È fantastica riesce a gestire tutti i giochi più recenti in fullhd senza avere il minimo tentennamento, si possono collegare fino a 4 monitor e i consumi non sono nemmeno eccessivi.... Ah quasi scordavo è anche molto silenziosa.

Ovviamente una scheda di questo tipo va usata per giocare....sono rimasto molto deluso e sconsigli l'acquisto perchè il dissipatore installato ha solo 2 heat pipe, con alte risoluzioni e elevati dettagli la scheda si scalda e le ventole triplicano il loro rumore diventando fastidiose. Nessun problema per le prestazioni, è solo che sul sito ufficiale non si vede che questo dissipatore è diverso da quello della G1 (con 4 heat pipe), le foto illustrative sono messe in moda da non far vedere questo particolare, se lo avessi saputo non la avrei acquista!
Per me che ho realizzato un PC potente e silenzioso, questa è una vera delusione....

Gigabyte GTX 970 rev.1.0 Scheda Grafica, considerando che ho comprato sempre ati e poche invidia e che di schede neo cambiate parechie a mio avviso circa una quarantina ...e che le uso principalmente per costruire degli HTPC che non esiste confronto con nesun bluray in comercio di qualsiasi prezzo esempio ( McIntosh MVP891 ) per la QUALITA' VIDEO compresi i piu' blasonati ( OPPO ) e processori video di varia spece che ho visto in giro nelle fiere e negozzi specializzati . Come scheda e' la migliore che ho comprato paragonata alla ati 290x che per me era un vero riferimento , confrontate con un proiettore da 4k su una base di 150 polici ma si vede anche molto la diversita video con un buon proiettore 2k , logicamente sistemate dovutamente nei driver delle entrambe schede sia ati che nvidia .

Got this for my 17 year old son, who's just built his first gaming computer. Works fantastically with the other components he chose. Was great listening to all his teenage friends oohing and ahhing over how great the resolution was and how fast everything worked. They were swearing quite a lot when he showed them how his new PC responded to games that they'd never seen in that clarity and with no jitters and jerkiness. Great product and arrived very quickly

Absolutely superb. Running top end games all on max graphics and flawlessly at that. Highly recommended just make sure your case is larger enough to install the card, you might require to move HHD. Anyone looking for a graphics cards which is worth the money this is definitely it.

For reference, I bought this card for use in a system containing a 4690K CPU at normal clock speed, with standard 8GB DDR3 RAM. This setup has a dual monitor configuration of one 1080p screen and one 1366x768 monitor, but I ran games on only the 1080p screen. The only time so far this card has struggled is when cranking up ArmA 3 settings to very over-the-top levels (very far viewing distances) and on GTA V, when setting shadow quality to max (even SLI 980s struggle with this, so its no surprise). In short, with a 1080p screen, you should have no trouble cranking nearly every single modern game to its maximum video settings, while maintaining at least 40 FPS (usually 60). Obviously, this is a very subjective matter and you should do your own research based on your parts, but I can at least say you will probably be in safe hands with this card.

Onto the card itself, this is one of the longer versions. You'll probably have an idea of it if you've dealt with similar cards before, but if not, make sure you have plenty of room in your case and measure it out before buying. It is a large and hefty piece of kit to attach to your motherboard, so take care. I have an NZXT H440, and even in that reasonably large case, had to do a lot of maneuvering to get it into position. Please also note, this is not the 'gaming' version of the card, and therefore does not have the lit 'windforce' logo. I personally had a lot of trouble figuring out if this would be the case, and I can confirm to you that only the gaming version has the lit logo.

Considering everything, I would say as long as you have done your research and know what you are buying, there is no reason why you should have an issue with this card and its performance, and therefore I shall give it 5 stars. Be aware that promotions are often run to receive free modern games with this card. I was about a month early to receive free copies of the Witcher 3 AND Arkham Knight, which was quite depressing.

To start with this is an awesome card. It is a 980 with three of the 16 modules disabled if memory serves (double check for yourself) and vastly cheaper.

RAM!!!!!!! READ THIS BIT
This bit is important. You will never consume 4GB of RAM they said, 8GB is over the top they said, so I decided to get this over an 8GB R9-390 as this has a lower power requirement (at the time thought i may sli this in the future) but otherwise performs the same for the same price. Well Warhammer Vermintide while running smoothly on max settings already consumes 3.5GB just when running at 1080p so if like me you are not the kind of waste money pc fools who buys a new card every year and you want one that will last a while the RAM will probably bottleneck this card as more RAM intensive games are released.
Also side note, you may read about RAM issues with this card, what it is is that there is 3.5GB RAM on board that runs at full speed and 512MB that runs at quarter speed, so you still get 4GB and because the vast majority of the game data will be in the fast section I don't see it making much of an impact. As they taught us in my computer architecture class, "Make the common case fast" and as the common case is that the data you need is in the fast section overall it should be fine.

So if you intend to keep this card for a few years or intend to go 4k (RAM intensive) and have a decent power supply I'd probably have to recommend going AMD on this one (Sorry Nvidia fans but quite often the AMD equivelant is better these days :P). Also if you plan to SLI this card you may want to research more into that, from what i hear there is not a huge perfomance boost and so you would probably be better off with a 980ti. This is still a phenomenal card though. I get an awesome framerate on every game I have played even on fully maxed settings at 1080p.

Also this card supports HMDI 2.0 so you can get 4k@60hz through the HDMI providing the other end also supports it. I have tried using this to get a 4k TV (HDMI 2.0 compliant) to use as a monitor as they are much bigger for the same price. I get horrible screen distortions when connected at 60hz. I think it was the fact the TV is a cheap one of a brand I never heard of. But would appreciate if anyone can comment on their experience with HDMI 2.0 for 4k@60hz that they have had so that we can work out if it is the TV or the GPU going wrong
