Inked with Passion: The Passion of Poetry Debut Anthology Copertina flessibile – 16 dicembre 2022

Migliora il tuo acquisto
What happens when an international group of poets are asked to write something they are passionate about? They bleed into their words and allow those words to form together into a fascinating miscellany of poems that convey the passionate spirit and look beyond euphoria and exuberance.
Here's a quote by Mark Z. Danielewski:
"Passion has little to do with euphoria and everything to do with patience. It is not about feeling good. It is about endurance. Like patience, passion comes from the same Latin root: pati. It does not mean to flow with exuberance. It means to suffer."
Open the pages of this miscellany to learn about how 120 poets around the world endure challenges to conquer their life's journey.

It is interesting to know that that the Passion of Poetry anthology began life as a Facebook site, sitting amongst many other poetry groups on Facebook. In the midst of a global pandemic when the world was in lockdown, creative writers and thinkers were isolated and needed to reach out and connect with other writers from around the world. The Passion of Poetry became the perfect platform for many poets to share their thoughts and feelings by publishing online and getting instant feedback and gratification. It was the vision and dedication of one extraordinary woman founder Annette Tarpley, from Virginia USA, that founded the site and helped to grow its membership in one year to over twelve thousand membership and still growing.
The book showcases the best poetry from its award-winning team of administrators and moderators, separated in chapters that focus on individual work to collaborative pieces. The chapter containing member poems is extensive and is ‘a who’s, who’ of poets in the modern world today. This anthology also is a celebration of diversity as each poet brings their own cultural identity and style to their writing, as well as giving the reader a unique insight into the different part of the world that they reside. Beautifully illustrated throughout it is anthology that will sit pride of place on any book shelf next to the classics.
The Passion of Poetry is an anthology that is definitely inked with passion and plenty of it. It is a treasure trove of the collective poetic verse, an anthology that you will cherish for many years to come. As a reader you will be treated to feast of poetry that will keep you occupied for many hours to come and is sure to inspire you further. So get comfortable, turn the page, and let your imagination and creativity flow.
