Build, display and role play with Doctor Who! Go time-travelling with this LEGO Ideas Doctor Who set featuring opening TARDIS, console room, Clara Oswald, Daleks and a Weeping Angel. Construct a stunningly detailed LEGO version of the iconic TARDIS and role-play the Doctor's time-travel adventures! Created by fan-designer Andrew Clark and selected by LEGO Ideas members, this set is based on the BBC's popular and long-running television series about a Time Lord - the Doctor - exploring the universe in a blue police box. Due to trans-dimensional engineering, the TARDIS is bigger on the inside than the outside and this cool multifunctional set includes the console room that houses all the flight controls. Regenerate the Doctor and defeat the evil Daleks and a Weeping Angel with the help of his extraordinary companion Clara. Then close the doors of the TARDIS and launch into another dimension! Includes 4 minifigures with assorted accessory elements: the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel, plus 2 Daleks. Features an opening TARDIS, detachable interior console room with assorted flight controls, exclusive graphic details and steps. Build an authentic replica of the iconic TARDIS time machine in LEGO bricks! Great for display or role-playing scenes from the TV series. Accessory elements include the Eleventh Doctor's Fez and the Doctor's signature accessory - The Sonic Screwdriver for the Twelfth Doctor. The Doctor fits inside the TARDIS when closed.

Multiple sets will be coming to our house. One for display and others for the kids to play with.
If you are a Doctor Who fan, then you cannot pass on purchasing this set before it goes out of production and can only be found for astronomical prices.
I will also add, I've noticed that several reviews say this set isn't for children. I have to strongly disagree. My twelve year old son, ten year old daughter and six year old son can follow the directions and put this together with no problem. (Actually we've had it for a month and my twelve year old no longer needs the directions.) My four year old son still has some trouble, but he can assemble quite a bit of it on his own from watching his siblings. ~ There is no such thing as an ordinary human. ~9th Doctor
This Lego set comes with the inside of the Tardis, the Tardis itself which can be attached to the inside by removing the top of the Tardis, 2 Daleks, 1 Weeping Angel, Clara, the 11th Doctor, the 12th Doctor, 2 Sonic Screwdrivers, and of course a fez. The set contains 623 pieces.
This set comes with a very well detailed instruction manual to build the set. The instructions were mostly easy to follow beyond some of the colors not being vibrant enough to easily tell what pieces were meant to be used. A few extra seconds spent looking at the color will allow you to differentiate which color piece is needed. I spent 1-2 hours building this set but I'm sure it could be built faster if you build with Legos more often than I do.
I was missing two pieces for lights in the Tardis Police Box but it wasn't too much of an issue since I was able to use some left over pieces to replace them.
Overall this set is very well detailed and deserves to be in every Whovian's collection.
There are 2 Daleks included ("Terminate!")
There are 2 Doctors included: 11th Doctor and 12 Doctor
There is one sidekick/partner: Clara Oswald
There is one Weeping Angel (plenty for those creeped out by those things)
There are 2 Sonic Screwdrivers (11th Doctor and 12th Doctor)
Teen feels this is very accurate to the Dr. Who show and the details would be appreciated by any Dr. Who fan. For what it is worth, I am not a fan of Dr. Who, but I have watched all episodes over the years of the newer (non-60's) Dr. Who shows. Even I could pick up on a lot of the detail and was impressed with the actual Lego kit and finished product. The designers of this kit did a good job and must have been fans.
He used to build TARDISes (TARDI??) out of the Lego pieces he already had, but was just so thrilled to be able to build a "real" TARDIS with this set. It made my Mister very happy, which makes me very happy too!
