5.0 su 5 stelle Unusual Nudist Story 7 maggio 2014
Di Patrick Collier - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

I liked this story about a witch in a coven that was friends with a nudist. As a matter of fact they were very close friends and were co-workers in a dentist's office.

The story calls Sheila (a witch in a coven) to check on her friend and co-worker one day when Josy (the nudist) didn't come to work. Sheila is a girl who is not interested in nudism at all. But she and her friends are members of a coven of witches, so you would expect them to participate in rituals involving naked rites by firelight at the knell of Midnight. But Sheila and her friends do not participate. So, the story takes a turn after the police have investigated Josy's disappearance and found nothing questionable.

Sheila is so concerned about Josy she is compelled to investigate this on her own. Now Josy was an avowed nudist who didn't like wearing clothes(except for work)and was a member of a nudist resort close by and had been going there for years. Josy periodically invited Sheila to come with her to the nudist resort in an effort to get her friend to be comfortable with her own naked body while being clothed only in the sun and wind. Sheila always declined the invitation.

When Josy was suddenly missing, Sheila has to swallow her pride and investigate the site where Josy was last seen - in the middle of the resort - among naked members - at a place called "Five Oaks".

This story contains first-love, native indian heritage, and alternate universe settings which add to the unique title of this book. I will reveal nothing further. If this review catches your attention you will have to purchase and read the book for yourself to find out what happens to Sheila, Josy, and Sheila's friends at the end.

If you do not normally read stories dealing with nudity as a theme, I strongly encourage you to read this one book. I believe you will be surprised what you think about nudity and nudism after you finish reading this book!

You might find that deep inside you are a nudist and don't realize it until now. Enjoy this fun read anyway. I think you will enjoy the story! Invest three dollars to see if what I have told you in my review is true!!

It's ok as a light read on summer day on the beach (textile or nude) or one has time to kill and doesn't want to think to much. The story (and reviews) claim a lot about naturism/nudism but the plot really circles around wicca stuff and timewarps. If it wasn't for the light writing style one would think that aspect of the plot is simply bizarre and put the book to the side, now it is at best entertaining. The nudist thing is really secondary but makes up for some stereotypical fun. The time the two main characters spend (naked, of course) in a kind of Jurassic park could have been more interesting simply drawing on some inspiration from the Discovery channel series 'Naked and Afraid'. But then, it wasn't meant to be serious anyway....
2.0 su 5 stelle Needed a good editor. 27 settembre 2014

This book needed a good editor. Not only was grammar often incorrect, but many times the wrong word was used. It seemed as though the spelling had been wrong when it was checked with a spell checker, and the author picked the wrong alternative. The random words would use many of the same letters as the intended word, but had no similar meaning. The reader had to figure out the intent from context. Sometimes it read like English was not the author's first language.

The story could have been interesting, and I was intrigued by the initial premis, but when we got into time travel, and an ancient spook, the book really lost it for me.

I can't add any more than others before myself and look forward to reading the other 4 in the series. Wish this would be made into a movie series.

The language at the beginning almost stopped me from reading the whole book. Sentences ending in meaningless "... that" add nothing. As the book progressed the conversations improved. Then I couldn't stop reading. Get ready for an interesting approach to a spirit guide and naturism. Worthy addition to my library.
