Nothing Is Negotiable (English Edition) Formato Kindle
Bonnie Wakefield is an up and coming outdoor photographer with two coffee table books to her credit. When she gets a last minute invitation to speak at a photographic workshop in Glacier National Park, she jumps on it. It will be her first speaking engagement outside Texas so she and her husband, Luke, decide to turn it into a working vacation. But things turn deadly and she’s forced to make a life-changing decision. Can she commit a crime to save the life of her husband? Sounds like an easy decision but it will put the life of a child in jeopardy. And if she does it, can she live with the crime she commits?
ABOUT ME I grew up in Edcouch, a small town in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas. Dad was a citrus farmer and mom's primary job other than being city manager was keeping me and my three brothers in line. The summer after each of us turned twelve we went to work for our dad on the farm. It was hot, tedious work and it convinced me that I didn’t want to do that the rest of my life. After high school I went to college at Texas Tech University where I got my degree in Range and Wildlife Management. I had dreams of being a wildlife biologist, but unfortunately jobs were scarce, so I followed my horticultural interest and went to work for a large, wholesale nursery. That was in 1975 and I’m still there today. It’s been a great career with a wonderful company. My wife, Sharyn, and I live in Austin, Texas, not far from our daughter, son-in-law and three grandsons. --Questo testo si riferisce alla paperback edizione.

Unbievable settings and plotRecensito in Canada il 13 giugno 2014
It is quite apparent that the author has never been to Cardston nor across the Canada-US border. Cardston is one of the largest Mormon communities in Canada. Not only is the town dry, but you also can't buy beer in a grocery store in Canada. As to two people hiding in a boat crossing the border, I don't think so. Oh, and how did they get down to the US in the first place without a passport. I think that the people of Cardston will be saddened at the portrayal of their town and the Border Services Agents, (on both sides of the border) would find the whole book laughable.
A Fast Read-full of twists and turnsRecensito negli Stati Uniti il 21 febbraio 2014
If you enjoy suspense with a twist, then you have to read this- Although I enjoyed the storyline immensely- I think it ended too quickly: in other words, I hated it to end! My final comment is- If a book has all the right 'clicks' that would make it a great movie, then this one has my vote-hands down! Will look forward to reading more by this author. The only reason I gave it a four out of five rating is because I am a stickler when it comes to not proof reading the book before putting it out there- there were some typos but nothing major. I just don't like to have to use my imagination sometimes when it comes to figuring out what the author meant to say. All smiles when making this comment, so read it and love it as I did!

Pretty good...Recensito negli Stati Uniti il 21 febbraio 2014
Except for two or three chapters towards the beginning which seemed to be duplicating themselves it was quite good. I had thought I'd quit it once but decided to read the last couple of pages (this was how I picked out books when in high school). They were not what I was expecting so I decided to give it another shot. Once I got past that point (can't tell you because it would be a spoiler) I really got caught up in the story. The premise was different from anything I'd read. I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it to others. If you get bored a few chapters in hang in there because once the story really gets going I think you'll find it hard to put down.
