AMP Series

Cast a thousand years into the future beyond SODIUM. This eight-book series chronicles the struggles of Don Grange, a simple package deliveryman, who is thrust into an unimaginable role in the fight against our enemies. Can we win peace and freedom after a thousand years of war?

OMEGA Series

Cast a thousand years into the future beyond AMP. The Alliance is crumbling. When corruption and politics threaten to throw the allied galaxies into chaos, Knog Beutcher gets caught in the middle. Follow along as our hero is thrust into roles that he never expected or sought. Espionage, intrigue, political assassinations, rebellions and full-on revolutions, they are all coming to Knog Beutcher's world!

HADRON is a modern day story unrelated to the SODIUM-AMP-OMEGA trilogy series. After scientists using the Large Hadron Collider discover dark matter, the world is plunged into chaos. Massive waves of electromagnetic interference take out all grid power and forms of communication the world over. Cities go dark, food and water supplies are quickly used up, and marauders rule the highways. One group of citizens takes a stand. Can they make a difference? And the devastating EM waves, where are they coming from? After months of starvation, a benevolent species arrive in their spaceships to rescue the Human race. Only, are they really so benevolent?

ARMS Series

ARMS is set in the future after Earth was nearing an apocalyptic event. Two competing colony ships were built, taking five million inhabitants each through a wormhole to a pair of newly discovered planets. The planets were settled and not long after the colonies looked to the surrounding star systems for ownership and expansion, which led to a centuries long war between them. A truce was declared after the aggressor side began to lose ground.

Tawnish Freely and Harris Gruberg are genetically engineered Biomarines. Their lives have been dedicated to fighting the war. They find themselves struggling to find work among a population that fears them. Work is found only by delving into the delivery of illegal arms to the outer colonies. Things go awry when they discover their illicit dealings may just be the catalyst that brings back the Great War. They are determined to prevent that from happening.

Welcome... I came to this planet fifty some odd years ago. After exiting my mother's portal, the doctor slapped me around until I started breathing the oxygen. I'll admit, at the time, I had no idea what I was doing or where I was. Being an infant Human, I was completely reliant on the responsible actions of others. It was a time that I have largely forgotten. I reside in Central Florida with the wife and children. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight. For me? I'm stuck here on this planet in this feeble existence that we Humans are all forced to endure. So, I ask you this... do you wish to escape the bonds of this surly planet we call Earth? Are you looking for a bit more adventure than what the grocery store has to offer? Do you worry about being enslaved by alien androids or six-eyed alien goats with lasers? Pew, pew, pew! Yeah, that's what I thought. Asking yourself those questions and getting back an answer is the first hurdle to cross in the race to get off this world. Sounds like you are ready to venture out, to put this place behind you. So crack open one of my books. Take to the heavens and let me shout this out to those who remain: "Watch out universe! Another Human is on the loose!" Join the email list for notifications and release dates at I also enjoy reader feedback! Take care and I hope you have a great day! Stephen

5.0 su 5 stelle A great story for the whole family 21 maggio 2015

Omega Guardian picks up where Omega Exile left off. Guardian continues to follow Mr. Buetcher as he attempts to right wrongs perpetrated in the Omega Sector of the galaxy. While Omega Exile was mostly a character driven story, Omega Guardian is non stop sci-fi action with unexpected twists throughout. Arseneault succeeds in introducing and developing likable characters as well as fleshing out those we already know from Exile. The plot was well thought out and original.

With all the free and .99 cent books available on the kindle, I seldom spend 3.99 on an ebook. After reading the free offering of the first book, I was willing to spend 3.99 on the second entrance to the series based on the fact that it was good clean fun that I can share with my kids. I appreciate the fact that both books are devoid of sex and profanity. Mr. Arseneault, I applaud you for creating an entertaining series that I can read to my kids. I will be happy to further support the author when I purchase Omega Alliance.

5.0 su 5 stelle Enjoyable SciFi, not too heavy w/military tech, more character based with a fun story line 3 novembre 2015

I wanted to read a few SciFi book this fall and picked the Omega series as one to dive into. I have enjoyed the series. Honestly the first book wasn’t as enjoyable to me as those following it in the series. Perhaps I needed more depth and at the start things hadn't built up enough. I felt like things went a little “too well” for the main characters and that the realities of life just don’t unfold that way in book #1. In this book (#2) I felt the story lines were more realistic though still a bit on the extraordinary side of things. Of course what story isn’t following the Hero characters without having amazing things happen, right?

Stephen’s style is very comfortable, he writes about the details concerning the technology and story lines he decides to look into and in passes over others to keep the story moving. Understood, but sometimes I do wish for additional details. The way he gives more details is by having additional books that dive into more of the stuff you might be curious about.

Thanks Stephen for your writing and the nice books as I’ve enjoyed them.

5 stars, good characters, nice story, engaging but in some area a bit less depth to some interesting characters where I would enjoy more details.

4.0 su 5 stelle A really good follow-up novel 11 aprile 2017

This book just took off from the first book. It was like a continuation of the first book, just a different story line. I was entertained, there are a few plot changes that had me laughing out loud. As soon as I finish this review, I will be buying the 3rd book in this series. A solid good read, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
4.0 su 5 stelle Kind of a 'Star Wars' type of story, but definitely not a ripoff. 16 maggio 2017

The only problem I had was the misuse of 'galaxy'. Galaxies have trillions of stars and are huge distances apart. One galaxy could not invade another to control it, the scale is just too ridiculously large. 'Star systems' within a galaxy would be a better description even though that still encompasses mind bending distances. Other than that I am enjoying the series.

5.0 su 5 stelle Reversal of Fortunes for Knog 1 agosto 2015
Di Dr. Dad - Pubblicato su
Formato: Formato Kindle Acquisto verificato
After Joni is captured during the revolt, Knog is an outcast and demoted. Predictably, he becomes an activist in his squalid housing complex and earns the respect and admiration of the decent residents as he faces down the antagonists.
Knog disrupts the security inspectors and tries, unsuccessfully, to expel the corrupt Govenor.
The action is fast-paced with myriad plot twists and surprises and I liked the new characters and new species and new settings; however, I hoped that Joni would be rescued. Instead, the author takes the reader on a wild trip to a mining planet and planets in the Omega system. The climax is unexpected but satisfying -the good guys prevail, of course, setting up book 3.
