Kimberley and her husband Milton answer a calling to become missionaries and soon discover the horrors of human trafficking.
Their journey soon takes them to Sudan, where Kimberley teams up with local pastor James, to help save women and children from unspeakable atrocities including slavery, rape, torture...
Milton's health prevents him from joining his wife in what at first appears to be an impossible task - to build a safe place for children to find shelter. Although "Passport through Darkness" takes the reader into the darkest corners of humanity, it is an inspirational and eye opening read.
Highly recommended.

I can't recommend this book enough. It is a gruelling, but amazingly honest and moving, account of being faithful to God no matter what. This book taught me to appreciate how angry God must feel at the depths of human depravity, but it also reminded me of the sacrifices, and indeed suffering, God calls us to if we want to be used by him. Kimberly's devotion to her ministry and her husband are simultaneously shocking and utterly understandable. I found this a wonderfully disturbing read - don't attempt it if you don't want to be challenged or upset... [I read the Kindle edition]

Complete hatchet job. As a south Sudanese I found this book a complete fiction with lots of geographical mistakes about Sudan and deep lack of knowledge of a country the author claimed to spend four years in. If I was one of the donors to her charity then the author would have serious questions to answer. Waste of time
