William Deane has other plans.
The Plotters are immensely powerful and have controlled Cantaera for millennia. Now they suddenly feel the link to that control severed.
William Deane, a young man wanting no power but only to find his lost family, has discovered he also has the power of the Plotters.
Where before the Plotters had controlled the minds of the Cantaeran’s, erasing their memories at will, forcing them into situations they would never have willingly chosen, now that power has been wrested from their grasps.
William must choose if he will use his new found power only to fulfill his personal desires, to find his family, or use it instead to break all of Cantaera free of the totalitarian shackles of the Plotters.
But the Plotters will not let their power be stolen without a fight. They will control those that they can still reach, adjust their memories, and set traps against William to recapture their control.
The Plotters will erase William’s memory if they can reach him.
But William can only win, can only find his family, if he can retain his own memories and his own will.
After all… if you cannot remember your past, how can you fight for your future?
