5.0 su 5 stelle Stay out of quicksand. 5 maggio 2015
Di Richard Gearon - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

Runs great and is fun to ride. The only problem is hills, even ones that are not very steep. From a standing start, it is impossible to get the scooter moving, on a hill, with just the electric motor. If you get a running start, on the flat, and hit the hill moving, the scooter can go up a fairly steep hill. Just don't slow down or stop, as you may have to push it the rest of the way up. From a standing start, on a hill, you can probably get it moving, by pumping with your leg, to augment the power of the motor. That's hard for me to do, because I have a bum leg. Someone with two good legs can probably get it going, even from a standing start, on a hill. The single brake really surprised me, as it worked VERY well, with absolutely NO FADE, going DOWN steep hills. That excellent brake is a great confidence booster. It runs great in the dirt and over rough pavement and rocks. Those big, fat, tires, give good traction and stability on all appropriate surfaces. Stay out of rivers, mud and quicksand.
1.0 su 5 stelle The scooter is great.. 13 giugno 2017

The scooter is great....when it works. My 10 year old daughter saved her own money to buy this. It arrived damaged. Razor would not replace the whole scooter but sent us new parts which took a few weeks to receive. Then my poor husband had to figure out how to put it all together. It worked great for about 4 weeks, then the battery charging component died. My husband spent copious amounts of time on the phone with Razor trying to diagnose the problem. They sent new parts which, again, took weeks to come in while the scooter laid dismantled in my kitchen. My husband then had to put it back together once the new parts finally arrived. We've spent a lot of time and effort on something that has worked only half of the time we have had it. Very disappointing, especially to the little girl who worked so hard to pay for it!

5.0 su 5 stelle Great scooter - worth the extra money 9 febbraio 2012

We debated for quite awhile on which scooter we should get - I thought this one was too much (to big, to fast, to expensive) but in the end the E300 was ordered. I'm very happy with the decision. The scooter was a Christmas gift for our 10 year old daughter and I keep thinking that the smaller units would be the safer bet - and apparently that is the same thought one of our neighbors had, they bought their 11 year old son the 200 model for Christmas. The 300 looks cooler and sturdier and actually is more stable than the 200 even though it goes faster. The speed difference probably isn't significant....unless you are on a 300 and the boy down the street has a 200...then the speed difference is "absulutely AWESOME" according to our daughter.

We first found out about these scooters when my daughter's classmate received a 100 model last summer. We almost bought one in local store but I wanted to see what the other options were. This was absolutely the best option for us - heck, I even have fun riding it.

The battery charge is limited by I actually think its perfect - with only 40 minutes or so of charge I can be sure she won't go far. She ran out of power once about 3 blocks from home and had to push home so now she stays pretty close to home or, if she goes a little further, will travel directly to where she's going and then come directly back. It almost like having a really long leash...in a good way. I've also noticed that it recharges to a full charge in much less time than the instructions mention - especially if you have it on a non GFI outlet that is on a lightly used circuit.

Great little scooter! Yes, its the "bigger" one but the size and weight make this one feel safer and stronger than the littler ones.

2.0 su 5 stelle Chain tensioner broke in after 1 month of light use 5 gennaio 2013
Di Digital Donkey - Pubblicato su Amazon.com

For the first month the e300 was great, then one day it stopped moving and starting making a grinding noise. I took it apart and found the chain tensioner was broken. When I went online to try to order a new one I found that everywhere I looked was sold out of that specific part - while every other part was readily available. Obviously Razor has a defective part that needs a redesign.

3.0 su 5 stelle Probably okay for pre-teens, but not adults 5 luglio 2008

This product has pretty solid construction. The handlebar height is adjustable. The tires are fat and hold traction well.

I returned this product. The important part of a review for an electric scooter, to me, is your weight. I'm about 185 pounds - grown man. This scooter does okay on level surfaces, it even makes it up inclines, barely; but that aside, the battery life was about 20-25 minutes the first time I rode it and the second time was 20 minutes or less. This is versus the 6-8 hour charge time.

So, you plug it in, charge it all night and you get about a 20 minute ride around the block and it's back to the charger.

The specs say max load is 240 pounds, but that's clearly just what it can structurally support without the frame breaking. The motor could never move that much weight and it'd probably kill the motor if you tried.

Again, it's not a bad product and it's a good entry level scooter for your young son or daughter, but don't get it if you're an adult. The greater the weight the shorter battery life. Someone like me can probably get away with a 2 mile round trip on a fairly even grade before the battery wears down.

I've ordered the eZip 1000 as an alternative. It releases July 2008. It's more expensive, but I'd tentatively recommend it for an adult as opposed to this scooter, which, as I said, is more suited to a smaller person.

I'm listed as zachmanx on epinions.com. You can view the same review on that site as well.
