This collection includes the first chapter of each of the books in the Knights of Berwyck series. There is time-travel, romance, mystery, and more in these stories. In addition to that, there are wonderful characters who get their own happily-ever-after endings. Reading these chapters brought back some of my memories of these stories, but I also know I’ve forgotten a lot of the details. For that reason, I know I want to go back and reread each book. It is a series I loved reading and would recommend to everyone.
If My Heart Could See You
The story starts as Castle Berwyck is ready to fall to the English after four weeks of battle. The Laird of Clan MacLaren and his son have been wounded; no one knows if they still live or not. The leader of the English is Dristan of Blackmore, known as the Devil’s Dragon. His flag is blood red with a black dragon on it and he is feared by everyone he meets, whether in England or Scotland. This is his story with Laird MacLaren’s daughter Amiria.

Katherine Wakefield (present day) has dreamed of a knight in shining armor for many years.
