Looks great and also is fun for the ham.

Looks great and also is fun for the ham.

The actual design of this is adorable, looks amazing in my natural set up and it's fairly large so fills space and gives them plenty of places to hide which is super important for hams.
Now to the downsides - this is incredibly poorly made. It was choc full of large splinters which are unsafe. I couldn't give it to my little one in that state so I sanded it down. Unfortunately it was that bad I ended up getting my dremel on it as sanding by hand wasn't cutting it. The tunnel part was the worst, it wasn't splinters but rather large shards coming off it. When sanded the wood started peeling and honestly it's unusable. I'm using the large hides separate anyway so the tunnel isn't necessary but I did pay for the part so I'm disappointed in it.
The bendy bridges had large gaps between the rungs which have been known to catch legs and even break them, so I'd highly recommend getting some reptile moss and stuffing the gaps using pva glue to hold in place so your pet can't be injured.
Honestly this is a completely unsafe product unless you're handy and willing to modify it. If the price was any more than it is I'd be very annoyed at this and would be getting a refund. Wouldn't recommend unless you are willing to spend the hours I did making it safe for use.

I put the pointy house bit on the cage base. The castle part I put up higher on top of a shoe box with a ladder going down it. The tube just sits at the front of the cage, hammy likes climbing on it to get out when I go over to her.
Down side is that it does look like there are woodworm holes, and as others said the tube doesn't snuggly fit in the holes, but I don't have it there anyway.
It takes up a lot of cage space.
Don't think it would be big enough for a syrian to comfortably move about.

And not as well put together. Very flimsy if I’m to be honest.
I buy them for my small conures to chew on ie “birds and couldn’t imagine any kind of hamster getting around this without big difficulty or without it fall apart because it’s not held together well at all.
A slight touch will have you pushing all the bits together again.

Not safe at all
Brought one of these a few years ago and it was perfect, this is just a piece of rubbish
