Ho acquistato questa tenda per riparare dal sole e dal vento una terrazza e per avere una maggiore privacy. Il prodotto è arrivato con i tappi in plastica rotti ed il paletto danneggiato a causa del corriere poste italiane ma ho subito contattato il venditore che si è attivato immediatamente ed ha inviato a sue spese i pezzi nuovi con altro corriere. Il montaggio ha richiesto pochi minuti ed è stato molto semplice. Ho sostituito i tasselli in dotazione con altri più grandi e resistenti perché quelli presenti nella confezione non mi sembravano adatti alle sollecitazioni che la tenda avrebbe avuto a causa del luogo molto ventoso. A distanza di due mesi dall'acquisto mi ritengo pienamente soddisfatto.

Noi l’abbiamo attaccata in maniera un po’ diversa, come potete vedere dalle foto. Ci serviva sul balcone in montagna ma non volevamo rovinare la pietra, quindi abbiamo usato la balaustra da un lato, e dall’altro abbiamo fatto dei buchi nel cemento. Non l’abbiamo attaccata nel pavimento. La tenda è molto robusta, silenziosa, ben fatta. Regge bene il vento di montagna che è molto forte qui a 1500m. Nei casi estremi di 30km/h l’abbiamo tenuta chiusa. Unico piccolo neo è che mi sembra bassa, se potessi la riacquisterei da 180cm ma mi accontento di questa che non crea comunque problemi e ci si abitua in fretta. Confermo che l’apertura è difficile, ma ci si abitua. Il problema è che l’attacco avviene in due punti, uno in corrispondenza della maniglia, e un altro a terra, e bisogna farli coincidere e nel frattempo tenere l’equilibrio e tenere forte la tenda che oppone resistenza. Non so se una persona di 50kg potrebbe farcela, ma io di 60kg e 160cm di altezza ci riesco (dopo alcuni falliti tentativi all’inizio).

Ottima soluzione per dividere il balcone, il montaggio è semplice ma consiglio di sostituire i tasselli di plastica in dotazione con altri migliori. La tenda ha una molto forte per tenere in tirate il telo e quindi il paletto che la blocca in apertura deve essere ancora molto bene al pavimento.

This garden awning is just what I needed to make my outside patio usable for more months if the year.
I have a covered patio at the side of my house with an outdoor heater, however the wind would howl down the side of my house meaning we could only use it on calm days.
I discovered this garden awning and decided to give it a go.
I had to build a side extension to the fence as the awning was not quite big enough to reach where I wanted it.
The installation it very easy and when not in use it is near and tidy in its own housing.
The awning has more than lived up to its expectations. It has made my patio more like a conservatory, which is amazing. The wind is stopped and we have now been able to enjoy being outside a lot this year even with the wet and windy summer we have experienced.
Tips: When returning the awning to its housing, you should do this slowly and ensure you keep it as square as possible. If you just let go or do it without care it will not retract properly.
The awning only has a handle in the middle to secure it to the other side. This can cause the awning to wobble in heavier wind. To stop this you can use bungy cords on the top and bottom to secure the top middle and bottom of the awning.

Overall very impressed with the kit and exceeded expectations. Assembly instructions very brief but fortunate to have a talented husband who is an engineer:). Once assembled the screen provides fantastic privacy and easily coils back into its housing case. To maintain longevity of the product we plan to dismount and take indoors for the winter even though the powder coated aluminium will most probably weather well.
Our only negative was the packaging it came in, the box was bashed in places and there were a few dents on the housing case of the screen. We decided to avoid hassle and live with those. Suggest the box contents are packed with paper to provide more robust transportation.
Overall very pleased with this product.

I have two screens: one at 2m height and one at 1.6m height, both positioned for privacy, rather than sunshade, round a hot tub. The installation is quite straight forward and all fixings are supplied. The 1.6m is at full stretch but it is still managable for my wife to open and attach to the retaining post. For that screen I also had to fit the retaining post off to one side so the shade has to be pulled straight out to full stretch and then moved to the side to meet the post.
BUT, *both* shades had the end plates dislodged on delivery (I ordered them months apart). This must be result of poor handling either at warehouse or during transit for delivery. Some of retaining screws 'ripped-out' the thread of the frame.
I repaired on both occasions (longer screws) because it is easier for me to do this than return for a replacement. On the second delivery the plate was so loose the screen had lost its tension. However, the instructions tell how to re-tension the screen and this worked perfectly.
I strongly suggest that the quality of the packaging should be improved. :-)
Otherwise, I am very pleased with the job they do for the price.
