As you read this I'll probably be researching ancient Greek or Canaan or Egyptian Rosetta Stone or comparing Chinese characters with Serbian Cyrillic from my stone house in Sliema, Malta built in 1938 called Brighton House. When I lived in England, for 3 years, heading the business development of a 150 consultants large IT Company in Ascot, Brighton was the place I cherished the most for its alternative and artistic vibes.

Born in 1968, using stories of ancient Greek and Egyptian philosophers and ancient artists, I inspire researchers to reach beyond their self-imposed boundaries. In the last five years, with Artof4Elements, have published 3 historical fictions and 7 non-fiction books. Speak English, Serbian, all Balkan Slavic languages, Maltese and Italian.

'Seated on a panel with her fellow writers, Maltese-Serbian novelist Nataša Pantović has been known to use slam poetry to perform her poetic body of work. Like her prose, the improvised words, tribal music, percussionist sounds, lengthy 'aum' chanting, are neither too preposterous nor too earnest but endlessly curious. A bridge builder between East and West, following ancient archaeological findings, she often dives into historic settings more than 2,000 years back in time.

In her novel, Ama: Playing the Glass Bead Game with Pythagoras, the 52-year-old author makes a bold swerve into less-travelled territory. She chooses for her protagonists: Ama, an African priestess, living in China's Macao in the 17th century; Ruben, a Portuguese Jesuit priest; and Fr Benedict, an Orthodox Christian. The book explores the rapidly-growing Macao, its changing sights, sounds and smells from different perspectives, from that of a bat to a goddess to a spirit. I am fascinated by the research into Ancient Europe's consciousness and art, applied psychology and philosophy from Tao to Jung, to deeper understand Intuitive Wisdom and Pure Ratio, through the Power of Mind of Pythagoras, Plato, and Balkan’s mystical thinkers. I write historical fiction, researching ancient history of Mediterranean and Balkan countries. I love archeology, ancient Egyptian Babylon, Serbian Vinča, and Maltese Neolithic Temples, and Greek mythology, going back to pre-Christ. Never had a TV or an Internet mobile, so I have read 1,000s of books and with my Serbian education, have started with Tolstoy at the age of 13. My father, who was one of the founders of Cooperative Court in ex-Yugoslavia, had a library with all the Ancient Greek classics, Dostoyevsky, Hesse, and Italian Renaissance legends such as Giordano Bruno and Leonardo da Vinci. With my mum, who was a physicist, my reading list extended to metaphysics.

After I had graduated with Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, I have published my first book in 1991, in Serbian, with Poslovni Biro, Belgrade, about Co-operatives Law. With a war in Balkan, and a country collapse, my family lost everything, including the life of my father who died of complication of his chronical disease in 1993.

Moving to Malta to work with 150 strong IT and management consulting firm within the Maltese Government: MSU, my professional career rose to the highs of 25 years of experience as Management Consultant and Executive Trainer where the list of clients included Ministry of Education, Local Councils, Attorney General, Vodafone, Barclays Kenya, Safeway UK, Water Services Cardiff. Since, I worked in New Zealand, Holland, Italy, etc with 3 largest consulting & training companies: KPMG, Reeds, Deloitte and have represented Malta’s IT outsourcing, all around the planet. As a female-presenter I remember facing a mainly male audience of 300 of Ministers and Business Heads of Mediterranean countries in “The Economist’s €uro-Mediterranean Business Summit 2006” in Marseille France.

Volunteering, I have organized 6 large Body, Mind and Spirit Festivals, the first ever in Malta, have provided panels for the International Vegetarian Festival, 10 days Conference about Neolithic Temples. A European Alliance certified Yoga Instructor, I had a yoga studio, in Sliema, and have helped build a school in a remote village of Ethiopia, that inspired me to since adopted two kids, as a single mum: check out that unusual story! With 18 years of male-female long-term relationships, now single, with long evenings, baby-sitting, my creativity force has found its expression in writing.
