Se conoscete già l’uncinetto tunisino, è comunque un libro interessante, con progetti divertenti da realizzare.

1...it's teaches you the basics if you are new to TC
2...it teaches many different stich combos to make different patterns
3. The projects give the basic stich pattern, and diagram so you can use it on your own project if you don't care for the particular item (surprising how few nooks give that imfo...my mind is too lazy to figure out...lol)
4...each pattern/project has a hidden nugget of imfo that you never realized you didn't know...
5...it includes some double ended imfo and patterns
I will be adding thus to my library.
Even on a black and white kindle, the pictures are good; however, I imagine the photos are even better in full color.
The author contacted me and graciously pointed out that it was *MY* error and not the editors error in the instructions. I'm so happy that she took the time and cared enough to set me on the right path because the results are beautiful. I've seen in other reviews that people didn't find the same drape and stretch to the knit stitch as the traditional two-needle knitting. I have not found that to be completely true. I have found that the knit is very similar and still gives me the beautiful look and feel that knitting can give. I definitely would suggest to someone that wanted to learn this technique that they be sure to read the instructions carefully and they will be just as happy as I am now. Just keep going over and over them, hopefully your eyes won't keep skipping the important bits like mine did at first!
I've found that it's pretty easy to navigate through the book and read it of course. The pictures, even zoomed, are not that great...but I decided I could put up with it. I just wanted to learn Tunisian crochet.
As far as the book and the technique--I am pretty good at regular crochet and found the book is clear and the projects interesting. The author explains the steps and it may seem repetitious when she repeats the steps for each stitch but if you are skipping from one to the other stitch in the learning process this actually helps keep from flipping back and forth...oh wait, no pages with the Kindle.
Today I realized that with Kindle for iPhone I can have the color pictures, too! They enlarge really well to show stitch detail in luscious color.
So that makes it the best of both worlds when purchasing a book of this type for Kindle. Although I don't really like reading regular books on the iPhone, it's great for this use!
