Sinossi

Wanting To Love Stories are about hope. The hope that there's someone out there for each of us and their willingness to accept us, no matter who we are.

Book 1:

Ryan owns Most Beautiful, a gentleman's club, and has one main rule he lives by: Never mix business with pleasure. Unfortunately for him, most women don't believe he doesn't fool around with the help, and as soon as they find out what he does for a living--they walk away.

He's had his heart broken twice when he was younger and gave up on love, thinking he's not meant to have anyone love him. Ryan's grown tired of one night stands and meaningless encounters and decides to go see a matchmaker. After fifteen years, he's finally ready to open his heart again.

Miley's a graphic designer for a fashion company in NoHo and she likes things a little kinky in the bedroom. Unfortunately for her, even though her boyfriends say they want to know what she likes, they really don't. Whenever she tells them, they run out of her life as fast as they can.

When her boyfriends run out on her, she has her usual night of staying in and eating some ice cream, but she's not ready to give up on men just yet. They can't all suck, even if her friend Kate thinks they all do. Miley still believes there has to be someone out there for her. Someone willing to fulfill her needs.

When Miley and Ryan cross paths on their search for love, they hope their lifestyles won't be too much for the other one to handle.

Intended for mature audiences.

1.0 su 5 stelle And I pick you by default... 28 agosto 2015

It was the end that made me dislike this book. The hero had to pick between his college ex and the heroine. He claimed to love the heroine but he had also told her that he still had feelings for the ex. He only picked the heroine after he has his ah ha moment because the ex did something sneaky. Why did it have to come down to him busting his ex for a sneaky move to prompt him to pick the heroine? It was like a win by default for the heroine.

This is from the last part of the book when the heroine confronts the hero. His college ex reaches out to him via social media and asks him to friend her. He does and they meet for coffee and he shows her around his place of business. She holds hands with him and he allows that to happen. The h's girlfriend spots them holding hands and tells the h. The h confronts him after she sees them together at his office.

"Who do you want, me or her?"
"I love you, but I think I still have feelings for her."
"Ugh! Get out. I don't want to talk to you right now."
"But Miley."
"Out!"
"But Miley."
"Out!" Miley's eyes started to drip and she took hold of her keys and launched them at him. Then she reached for whatever was closest. First a plate, then a pan, and then a fork. When the fork hit Ryan in the face, close to his eye, he got the message and left.

This was not my idea of a romance or an ideal hero. She probably should have also thrown a toaster at him. The poor heroine won not because the hero’s heart selected her, but because his ex had eliminated herself when she got called out on a foul play. The hero was too wishy washy not knowing whom he wanted and that was not what I call a hero.
