Il termometro è comodissimo e preciso ,
Le sonde vanno utilizzate solo in alimenti e non come temp bbq.
Le impostazioni del tipo di alimento vanno date dopo che il trasmettitore e il ricevitore, sono stati accoppiati.

5.0 su 5 stelle Superior to the Maverick 18 aprile 2014

I unfortunately purchased two Maverick temp monitors. Their range is more like 30 feet line of sight, one of the probes burnt out on the first try and I really don't need a cooking profile for a Deer Mouse. The Weber 6741 does not need a startup sequence. Once the handshaking is complete, either device can be turned on first and the link will be successful. Its range is effective and I'm sure it comes close to the 300 feet advertised. It has easy to use count up and count down timer. It has a cooking graphic telling you how close the temp is to the set point. The monitor beeps a warning and flashes the graphic when the food is close to done, then beeps and flashes again when the food is done. The chicken temp setting is set for a breast and should be increased for other parts. The Weber is easy to set and reset and does its job well

2.0 su 5 stelle Not up to Weber's usual quality 25 ottobre 2015

While the concept is great, it does actually allow you to watch two pieces of meat at the same time (wife likes very well done, me, I like it not quite raw) it isn't very reliable and that is an understatement! It worked twice...then died. Wouldn't pair with either of the probes and it wouldn't allow the change of meat type (I'm going to guess that without a probe registered, it disabled that function). What I was left with was a very spiffy looking timer with no ability to measure temperatures of anything.

I won't be buying another...which is a shame because I swear by their grills and it is with regret that I can't say the same thing about this device.

4.0 su 5 stelle Great device, not user friendly 8 marzo 2015

I bought this device from Amazon awhile back. My previous temperature probe stopped working after 5 years so decided to try the Weber. I got it out of the box, and it looked slick. Looked to be of much better build quality than the one I had before and the dual probes were going to be a bonus. Then I tried to pair the display unit with the base. I followed the printed instructions, even the clarified ones on the Weber web site. None of the instructions worked. I put it away, bought a cheap, wired probe from a local store and went about my business.

2 months later, I pulled out the Weber again. I was determined to get it to work. I spend 2+ hours trying different orders of steps. Changing batteries, and praying to any higher power that would listen. Then, it magically it happened...it paired!!! I don't know if it was the crappy batteries, or me stumbling on the correct procedure to pair or a combination of the two, but it worked. It has worked ever since as well. Worked really well.

From what I can gather, you have to -
1. Turn on the "base unit"
2. Then press and hold the "1" and "2" buttons on the display unit until it beeps
3. Push the button on the "base unit" (might have to do this a couple of times)
4. It should pair at that point.

Even with that knowledge, I have had to do it a couple of times to get it going on every cook. It isn't as user friendly as one would like, but when you get it working, it is great. So I am kind of torn on the star rating. The device works great, but getting it going isn't that easy. So I will give it a shaky 4. Tempted to give it a 3, but honestly my experience with the device has been really good once I got it paired.

4.0 su 5 stelle Simpler would have been better 19 febbraio 2016

This is my third Weber wireless thermometer and it is the most complicated and hardest to operate. I thought the dual-probe would be useful, but it is in the way most of the time. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I have to pair the remote and base unit every time I use it. And the instruction manual, which could have been very simple, is printed in 13 different languages, only three of which I can read. Even the manual is way more complicated than need be.

All that said, the basic functionality is there. I am a year-round griller, so the remote thermometer is a must-have and this one does everything you expect. It just could have been waaaay simpler.

I've worked as a chef for years and I previously had a weber single wireless temperature probe that always worked alright. The problem I had with he old probe was you couldn't adjust the preset tempsas well as pairing issues. This one allows you to adjust the target temp you want, which is a huge step up. So far no pairing issues just remember to turn on the receiver first. My only issue with this one is that initially the unit was reading incorrect temps, it was 12° off the first time I used it. The problem was solved after resetting everything. I would recommend checking the probes before use, I always use ice water to see if thermometers are reading 32°. Other than that the product is great and I would highly recommend it.
