Buon supporto, ma...
Buon supporto/adattatore metallico, consigliato per SSD o hardisk da 2.5", nel mio caso l'ho acquistato per un SSD.E' compresa la viteria e un set di 4 rondelle in plastica;Un piccolo problema riscontrato, ma "risolto", è che avendo un Case mod. Zalman Z5, ho dovuto adattare gli slide in plastica di serie con il Case.Infatti qualche buco non corrispondeva, ma alla fine gli slide in plastica auto-stringendosi nel Case mantengono diciamo abbastanza saldo il supporto, relativamente al peso dell' SSD poichè è leggerissimo e privo di disco rotante (come ben sapete), e di conseguenza non provoca problemi particolari.In allegato trovate delle foto su come, diciamo, ho adattato il supporto.NB: Ovviamente gli SLIDE IN PLASTICA esterni che vedete in foto NON SONO INCLUSI NEL SUPPORTO, ma sono di serie nel mio Case.Conclusioni: buon supporto se il vostro Case è compatibile/adattabile, altrimenti dovrete trovare qualche altra soluzione per adattarlo;4 stelle per il prodotto;5 stelle per il Prezzo (2,74 euro) e per la Spedizione, arrivato 4 giorni prima della data stimata.

My PC fixes the HDD in the bays by screwing into the top frame of the HDD NOT into the side of the HDD frame. I therefore needed an adapter which could be fixed into the PC by screwing into the backplate.
This is a good low cost mounting bracket which does what I wanted it to do. FOR THE PRICE POINT the adapter is well made and comes with 8 screws.
A key lesson for me was that this is a BRACKET NOT A CONVERTER ( a converter will transform the profile of a 2.5 inch SSD to the profile of a 3.5 inch HDD.
In the PC I was upgrading this is what I needed. In another PC I needed to use a converter. So it is important before buying to look at the internal metalwork of your PC to determine if a bracket or a converter is required.
Other observations/things to consider
1) The “2.5" Hard Disk Installation Frame to 3.5", does not replicate the profile of a HDD case. It is an installation frame. Its profile does not match the profile of a HDD and therefore the position of screw holes do not match the position of the holes in a HDD frame. BUT the provided screw holes do allow the adaptor to be fitted into a 3.5 inch bay in PC case.
2) There are 12 tapped screw holes in the adaptor (four holes on the back plate and four on each side) and two elongated channels for the SSD screws.
3 The SSD fitted well into the adapter and all 4 screws were able to be screwed into the SSD. However the elongated slots were only just long enough to allow this. Any small intolerance in the machining of the adapter (or in the placing of the screw holes on the SSD) could hinder the placement of the screws. However, it would be easy to elongate the cut outs in the backplate with a small round file.
4) There are 4 tapped holes in each side flange. These DO NOT have the same spacing as found on a standard HDD frame. I did not need to use those to install the adapter in my PC. However, I suspect that if side fixing is need only one of the hole pairs will need to be used.
5) There are 2 tapped holes on each side of the backplate (4 in total). These DO NOT have the same lengthways spacing as the holes found on a standard HDD. I fixed the bracket into my PC using only one pair of holes. The advantage of having two pairs is that the bracket can be slid forwards or backwards in the case and the pair of screw holes chosen which give the best position for the SSD. I believe that this is the intended purpose of providing the two pairs of holes.
6) I used only 2 screws to fix the adapter into the PC case. This is more than sufficient. The combined weight of the adapter and the SSD is negligible and two screws are more than adequate for fixing.
7) In my Dell PC the holes drilled in the case are centred to match the standard width spacing of the holes found on a classic HDD frame. Some of these holes were elongated to allow for slight variations. The spacing of the holes in the backplate does not match exactly the spacing of the classic HDD holes. This is not a problem. To fix the adapter into the case I elongated one of the fixing holes by around 1-2mm using a small round file.
8) All necessary screws are provided. It should be noted that the SCREW THREADS ARE NOT THE COARSE THREADS OF THE SCREWS USED TO MOUNT A CLASSIC 3.5 INCH HDD. This may be a problem if your case mounting requires you to use special anti-vibration screws which have a coarse thread. I believe that a FINE THREAD is used on the metal work of the SSD mounting bracket because the metal of the frame is a thin gauge steel (not aluminium of a 3.5 HDD) and a coarse thread cannot be used.
In Summary. If you are looking for a "CONVERTER" which converts a 2.5 inch SSD into 3.5 inch HDD frame and which replicates the HDD frame profile exactly this is not it. But if you want a VERSATILE BRACKET onto which you can screw a 2.5 inch SSD and which can then be fixed into a 3.5 inch HDD bay this will do the job.
IMAGE: In the picture you can see the two screws and screw holes used to hold the bracket in the bay. A classic 3.5 inch HDD would be held in place with 4 screws (hole numbers 1, 4, 3,and 2 in the image). Only 2 screws are used to hold the bracket in the bay. Screw hole 2 needed to be elongated (towards screw hole 4) by 1-2mm. The screw holes 2 and 3 have been elongated by the case manufacture but unfortunately in the wrong direction.
