WHEN SEA BURNS
Audi Prabian and his three companions: Nagisawa Chizuru, Jane Drake, and Jonathan Mills are mercenaries dragged into the war between The Cypriot Brotherhood and The Crowned Confederacy. With deep animosity from the past still plaguing their relationships, they are forced to work together to escape Planet Gleicherde and avoid certain death at the Brotherhood's hands.
But things turn complicated when the Brotherhood admiral in charge of the invasion--Denis Khristoforovich Lavrov-- seeks to duel Audi after he witnessed his skills in battle. The Brotherhood is rapidly advancing in all fronts, and Audi must avoid Denis before all avenues of escape from the planet are denied.
However, Denis commits an atrocity in the name of his cause. Despite usually apathetic, Audi becomes enraged by Denis's action and abandons his three companions. He vows to stay in Gleicherde until he could crush Denis for what he's done.
WHEN SEA BURNS is a tale of heroic struggle which serves to test the humanity of its characters. The ideals of friendship, love, humanism, and environmentalism will be strained to their limits as Audi and Denis clash over the war-torn planet of Gleicherde.
