      Ordered Asus Z170-A (6 PCI-E slots). Received Asus Z170-K (4 PCI-E slots). Disappointing to say the last, but the board is otherwise working fine. I bought this with the intention of putting together my first 6-GPU cryptomining rig. I have managed to get 5 cards working by using an m.2 to PCI-E adapter, so at least there's that. Going through the whole return process is too much hassle and just time lost mining, so I'm keeping it since it does still work. Just be more vigilant in shipping the correct products in the future please.

      Foolproof setup . . no glitches or problems. Snapped in the memory, connected the power lines and turned on the motherboard. First time around it did a couple of reboots and then eventually ended for the installation of the Windows operating system.

      I have always used ASUS products and, to date, none have ever given be grief.

      Highly recommend their products.

      Very well-equipped motherboard. EFI BIOS in basic mode is easy to use, and the advanced mode has settings for everything you might need. Overclocking is easy and quite intuitive. I would've wanted a second USB3 20-pin header to supplement the one already present, as I needed more than that. install was very straightforward as the manual is clear. CPU install is easy with the provided tool, though you don't really need it if you're confident enough. I'm very happy with my purchase. One thing though: when you search online for reviews, drivers - anything really - you'll find that ASUS has made a gazillion of boards which names all start with "Z170-", and that unfortunately there is one called "Z170-PRO GAMING", which is *not* this one. This makes it pretty difficult to learn about this particular board, even on ASUS' own website.
