In passato ho comprato in diverse occasioni queste batterie ricaricabili ed erano ottimi prodotti in quanto probabilmente erano Eneloop Panasonic rimarchiate, quindi arrivavano già completamente cariche e sempre caratterizzate da una tenuta di carica unica. Erano prodotte in Giappone.
Prima di questo acquisto ho dato un'occhiata ai recenti commenti negativi che lamentavano la scarsa qualità e il cambio di produzione, ho voluto rischiare, purtroppo ho perso la scommessa. Quelle arrivate sono esteticamente molto simili alle precedenti Amazon Basic prodotte in Giappone ma... sono prodotte in Cina ed il livello è decisamente più basso. Poco affidabili, alcune sono arrivate già scariche ed altre sembrano avere qualche problemino.
Da adesso in poi tornerò ad acquistare solo le ottime Eneloop.

Ottime ma attenzione ricaricarle subito......

Impossibile caricare il contenuto multimediale.

Ho comprato queste pile in occassione dell'arrivo del natale e adesso che è finito e sto rimettendo tutto a posto e cmq dopo 2 mesi di utilizzo penso di poter dire la mia su queste pile.
Io ho acquistato la confezzione da 16 pile stilo da 2000mha le ho utilizzate principalmente per alimentare luci natalizie per interno a batteria, quindi non saprei dirvi come si comportano
all'esterno con le basse temperature.
Nel mio caso vi ripeto per luci per interno quando effettuavo la carica completa che ci metteva ******* ore circa alimentavano le mie luci per quasi 3 settimane.
Cmq i valori che vi sto dando sono per forza indicativi non sono stato li con il cronometro, e poi altri fattori entrano in gioco come
- l'assorbimento del prodotto che dobbiamo alimentare
- la temperatura (al troppo freddo o caldo tutte le batterie durano molto meno in linea di massima )
Quindi le consiglio perchè sono ben fatte, e consiglio il pacco da 16 perchè a quantità prezzo si risparmia di più
Non saprei ovviamente ancora dirvi se nel tempo la loro capacità di mantenimento di carica rimanga alta, solo il tempo potrà dirlo,quindi mi riservo la possibilità di aggiungere o togliere stelle al prodotto.

UN DETTAGLIO NEGATIVO
Non immediatamente ma qualche giorno dopo che si sono scaricate, ricaricarle subito altrimenti le rovinate e non sono più ricaricabili, come vi mostro nel video.

Prestazioni mediocri, e tasso di autoscarica deludente

Ho acquistato queste celle sulla scorta di alcuni test incoraggianti visti online. Purtroppo anche i test fatti seriamente servono fino ad un certo punto, probabilmente perche' le caratteristiche del prodotto cambiano con una certa frequenza, e quindi, se e' piu' o meno buono, e' possibile scoprirlo solo dopo aver provato in prima persona.

I pro:

1. la capacita' dichiarata e' onesta, a differenza della stragrande maggioranza delle celle cinesi che si trovano vendute su (e anche da) Amazon.
2. Il prezzo, quando sono in sconto, e' abbastanza concorrenziale. A prezzo pieno, non credo rifarei la medesima scelta.

I contro:

1. Durante la scarica ho notato voltage sagging abbastanza pronunciato; anche con scarica a soli 500 mA, la cella tende a scendere sotto la tensione nominale sebbene la capacita' residua sia ancora sopra il 50%, cosa che non capita ad esempio con le Eneloop.
2. La resistenza interna sembra un po' alta per delle celle nuove
3. Le celle nello stesso blister sembrano mescolate percio', per fare dei set equilibrati, bisogna prenderne parecchie e poi andare a caccia di quelle che hanno caratteristiche piu' omogenee.

Detto questo, io finora le ho usate solo nel carica/analizzatore e in dispositivi a basso consumo.

In questi ultimi, le prestazioni sono deludenti: in uno degli apparecchi che uso, le AmazonBasics offrono la stessa autonomia di celle che sono a fine vita, mentre altre marche durano 2 volte piu' a lungo, e in alcuni casi anche di piu'.

In un dispositivo a basso consumo, la resistenza interna della batteria (e quindi la sua propensione a scaricarsi da sola), conta spesso piu' della capacita', ovvero non si riesce a sfruttare una parte dell'energia contenuta nella cella carica, perche' viene consumata non dal dispositivo stesso, ma sprecata dalla cella.

Proprio per questa ragione mi aspettavo prestazioni piu' soddisfacenti da celle nuove di fabbrica, mentre invece mi sono dovuto ricredere.

Attenzione alla dimensione! Una volta infilate potrebbero non uscire!

Tutto bene, fino a quando non le infili in un apparecchio pensato solo per le batterie alkaline tradizionali. Queste batterie sono mezzo millimetro più spesse delle altre, se fatichi ad infilarle in qualche foto-videocamera, telecomando, flash ecc, fai attenzione che poi diventi matto a tirarle fuori senza distruggerle!

Le batterie sono prodotte da Amazon Basic quindi sono un prodotto di alta qualità, ed è proprio questo che mi ha spinto a comprarle. Devo dire la verità: ottimo acquisto.
Arrivate in tempi record, in perfette condizioni. Sono pre-caricate quindi pronte all'utilizzo. Hanno un ottima durata. Per il momento nessun aspetto negativo.
Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Amazon sempre perfetto.

Dopo un anno di uso continuano a ricaricarsi, alcune cominciano a dare segni di stanchezza, quando le inserisci nel caricabatterie non le riconosce, dopo alcuni minuti cominciano anche queste il ciclo di carica. Molto dipende anche dal caricabatterie, infatti quello che avevo prima le ricaricava a tutta potenza e rovinava le batterie, mentre questo che ho adesso è digitale con funzione di controllo carica a vari livelli e anche rigenera la capacità. Moolto meglio!

These are proving to be good batteries as time goes on. I bought a 16 pack so we could rotate 2 lots of 4 x AA rechargeable batteries in the kids kidizoom duo cameras that we got them for Christmas. I didn't want to be caught short with the kids losing battery and being without their new favourite toys.

On the plus point, the batteries come pre-charged so it's just a case of popping them into your device and you're ready to go! My 5 year old son is the most avid user of his kidizoom. He's typically on it for 3 full days before there's any sign of a battery low warning, which is quite impressive really, given that he picks it up before he eats his cornflakes, and we have to encourage him to put it down!

At 2000 mAh ( milliAmp hours) you may be tempted to order the larger capacity 2700 mAh rechargeable, but I chose not to as the 16 pack of 2000 mAh rechargeable batteries work out to be around half the cost, on a cost per battery basis. I could only see the larger 2700 / 2800 mAh on sale as 8 x packs, at typically £17.99 upwards although prices can and do change continually.

I chose the AmazonBasics brand over some others, because I am of the opinion Amazon must have outsourced the manufacturing and branding process to a large company, for best pricing, and production costs, as well as reliability . There were other batteries that were low cost but I was unfamiliar with their name or manufacturing history.

I say that as someone who was in charge of an Industrial Battery Charging Facility for 5 + years and learned most of the manufacturers back in the day.

These are good value batteries that offer a good mid to heavy usage in handheld electronic devices and come highly recommended if, like me you are planning on a rotational battery charging routine, to keep the kids happy with their handhelds.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING - Physical Limitations

I bought these because after some research, AmazonBasics batteries seem to be pretty great - and they probably are, I've only been using them for one day. There is, however, a huge caveat that you should know about, and it all has to do with their physical shape and size.

If you look at the photos I posted, you'll see the differences between these batteries and other batteries: the body is taller, the + end is shorter, and the - end is almost completely flush as opposed to protruding a bit more outside of the body.

The third picture explains why this can be a problem. I've tried these in two wireless doorbells (different brands) and a lamp and they simply do not work. The + end isn't making contact. The workaround I found is taking a small screwdriver and slightly raising the coils on the + end inside my devices so that they can reach the batteries' + end.

If you decide to buy these, just know that MAYBE they won't work in some of your electronics (unless you tinker inside those electronics a bit).

P.S. The AmazonBasics AAA batteries don't have these issues.

Poor design = don’t work in some devices

The design of these batteries is not good. The contact on the positive end is shorter than other batteries and since they are ever so slightly larger, they do not work in some of the devices I put them in. Decent price and all charged up fine for me however the design and size are the issue, especially in some applications.

Excellent batteries - after 5 years use

Have owned these (16x AA batteries) for 5 years and they are still going strong.

(NB my batteries are black, but links to this item, according to my order)

Was initially surprised how good they were compared to more expensive Eneloops. When first purchased, they all tested at more than 2000mah capacity, coming in at 2000-2150mah.

Tested again now after 5 years and they were still really decent, coming in around 1800-1850. They have not deteriorated any more than Eneloops have over the same time period.

They have been fairly lightly used, and mostly for a trailcam, audio recorders, Xbox controller and Xmas decorations!

Worth noting that they have been looked after and charged with a decent quality Powerex Maha WizardOne charger, and 95% of the time charged gently/slowly (which preserves battery life). They do not get any warmer (for me) than Eneloops do. If you are going to charge any battery quickly, then it is likely to get hot, but it is not good practice really if you want them to last.

Would definitely recommend.

Cheap, But They Can Expand...

I use many of these batteries. They hold charge well, work for a long time and are decent value.

However....I used them in a torch with a fairly slim body. After the batteries died - which was a few months - I went to switch the batteries for a new set, but I couldn't get one of the batteries out of the torch! They had quite easily slid in - I didn't need to force them at all - but one had expanded in the torch.

So now I have lost the use of the battery, and the very nice torch!! I simply cannot get the battery out.

Very frustrating indeed.
