One nice little thing
il 19 marzo 2015
This one was a nice little thing.
I downloaded it for free last February and it waited patiently till I decided it was the right time to read it. And this morning, while watching the last downhill races of the season I dug in.
I'm always afraid to read comics on my Kindle because I fear that it doesn't do them justice. But this one fits perfectly on the screen and it was a pleasure to read.
OK, the art isn't as kawaii as I like but all the strips were funny and offered a nice glimpse on the Japanese life. Some of them were really funny. From my time in Japan I could relate to the ones about waiting for the mailman.
The texts were quite informative. I loved the part about the train etiquette and the onsen. Those parts give a perfect insight into two things that are extremely Japanese. Too bad there was lots of typos, especially when it comes to Japanese words. Onsen itself gets spelled in different ways and also capitalized, when it wasn't necessary.
I'll read the second one, as well.
